Our final-year Doctor of Optometry students Alex Murray & Maximillian Karelis recently participated in an international Virtual Grand Rounds event alongside students from UNSW Sydney, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the University of Melbourne 👁️📝
Students presented and discussed real clinical cases, sharing approaches to diagnosis, management, and patient care across different clinical and educational settings. This unique collaboration provided valuable insights into how optometrists around the world approach complex patient management and strengthened students’ clinical reasoning, communication, and professional skills.
A wonderful opportunity to learn from peers, engage with diverse perspectives, and build connections across institutions 🌎🤝📚
