A vacancy tells you a room is available. It does not tell you whether the support model, location, accessibility, routines or compatibility are right. Availability should start the conversation, not finish it.

Availability answers whether support exists. Suitability asks whether the arrangement fits the person, their routines, preferences, relationships and goals.
