A Naturopath is a health practitioner who aims to restore optimal health by natural means. Naturopathy is a holistic approach of health care and wellness. It is a complementary healing practice that combines numerous modalities to treat each person in a natural manner. Naturopathy recognizes the important role that lifestyle, environment, nutrition and personal history plays in the health of all p

- Supplements with Herbal, Nutritional, Homeopathic and Flower essence prescriptions
- Information about your condition and a Naturopathic understanding of this

🀯 FUN FACT: Dark chocolate contains MORE iron than steak... per 100g!

Let's compare:

πŸ₯© Beef steak (100g)
Iron: ~2.5–3mg

🍫 Dark chocolate 70–85% cocoa (100g)
Iron: ~11–13mg

🍫 Extra dark chocolate 90% cocoa (100g)
Iron: ~10–12mg

Yep, gram for gram, dark chocolate packs a surprisingly impressive iron punch!

BUT... before you swap your steak for a block of chocolate, here's the important part πŸ‘‡

It's relatively easy to eat 100g of steak as part of a meal. Eating 100g of dark chocolate? Not so much (and your tummy might not thank you for it πŸ˜…).

Plus, the iron in beef is haem iron, which is absorbed much more efficiently than the non-haem iron found in plant foods and chocolate.

The takeaway?

✨ Both can have a place in a balanced diet.
✨ Red meat remains one of the most bioavailable sources of iron.
✨ Dark chocolate can contribute small amounts of iron while also providing antioxidants and polyphenols.
✨ Nutrition is about the whole picture, not just comparing numbers on a label.
