Our theme is Be Wound Aware | SOS: Save Our Skin, running 28 September – 4 October. During this year's Wound Awareness Week, we'll focus on the vital role skin plays in protecting our health and wellbeing.

Wow, what an incredible last 3 days it has been. Such a pleasure to be in attendance at the Wounds Australia Conference 2026.

It was also an honour to represent the amazing Wounds Australia Credentialing committee. We have more to do but we are getting there. The most special part was finally meeting some of the members in person.

The networking and industry displays, new innervations, speakers from across the globe, food. Listening to people with personal, lived experience, patient journeys was incredible and empowering and to witness the impact of these talks on clinicians was wonderful. It is these experiences that develop and improve patient outcomes.

To the Wounds Australia team, thank you, and we all look forward to the upcoming Wounds Awareness Week and also the release of the consumer information.
