Your brain never actually sees your body.

It relies on constant updates from your muscles, joints and nervous system to work out:

• where you are
• how you're moving
• what's safe
• what's not

Think of it like Google Maps.

Good information = good directions.

Poor information = recalculating... recalculating... 😅

This process is called proprioception and it's one of the reasons movement and joint function matter so much.

Because your brain can only respond to the information it receives.
