What a season for the Wollongong Lions 🦁

We’ve loved being able to support the club throughout their 2026 season and it’s pretty special to see the hard work of their players, coaches, volunteers and the wider club community rewarded at the end of the season. 🏆

With 3 of 4 senior grades making their way to the grand final, it was a huge finish to a successful year.

A massive congratulations goes to all Lions players, especially the women’s Premier division who brought home the premiership after a fantastic grand final win over the Figtree Saints!

At PREP, we proud to support local athletes and clubs put the work week after week.

A special shout out to Wil, who has represented both the Lions and PREP throughout the season, pulling double duty as a player and the team‘s main Physio! A very impressive commitment! 👏🏼

Over the past 4 weeks, Mikaela has had the opportunity to step in as physiotherapist for the NSW Waratahs Women’s team as part of their Santos Festival Of Rugby campaign in Roma, QLD! 🏉💙

The role involved travelling up to Waratahs HQ in Daceyville twice a week for training, managing and rehabilitating injuries, and providing treatment and strapping to help keep the girls on the field.

This weekend, the team headed north to Roma to go head to head with the QLD Reds in some seriously tough conditions. While we didn’t get the result we were chasing, it was an incredible experience for Mikaela to work alongside some of the best in the biz, and one she’ll no doubt take plenty away from.

We’re incredibly proud that our clinicians get the opportunity to work in professional sport, gain experience at the highest level and bring those learnings straight back into the clinic for our PREP community. 👏🏼

5 exercises I’m giving myself for upper back and neck pain 👉🏼
1. Thoracic Extensions on foam roller

Free up some mobility in the joints of the upper back.

2. Lying twist, bow and arrow combo

A great stretch for the WHOLE back 😍

3. Thread the needle

Encourage rotational range of motion for the whole upper body.

4. Banded row

Strengthen the muscles of the back that aide good posture.

5. Banded lat pull down

Another variation of postural strength!
