If you walked past our training room today, you might have thought we'd made an absolute mess... and you'd have been right! 😂

Today's Little Lifesavers got hands-on learning some of the most important skills they can have.

They learnt:
❤️ How to call Triple Zero (000)
⚡ How to recognise, locate and use an AED
🫀 The basics of CPR
🩹 Lots of different bandaging techniques
🔥 Basic burns treatment
🚑 How to stay calm and get help in an emergency

By the end of the session, our casualty had somehow ended up wrapped from head to toe, we'd used what felt like every bandage we own, and the room looked like a mini disaster zone! 🤣

The best part? Every child had a go, asked great questions, worked as a team and left with new skills and confidence that could one day make a real difference.

A huge thank you to all of our Little Lifesavers for another fantastic session. We had just as much fun as you did...
..although we're fairly certain Baby Shark will now be living rent free in our heads for the rest of the day! 🦈🎶😂

🚑 We're almost ready! 🚑

The Little Lifesaver Kits are packed, the certificates are written, and we're looking forward to meeting our very first Little Lifesavers tomorrow! 💚
Children will get hands-on with CPR manikins, learn when and how to call Triple Zero (000), practise basic bandaging, and build the confidence to help in an emergency.
To make sure every child gets plenty of hands-on time, we keep our workshops small.

🏁 What a weekend at the HARDI 24 Hour Trial! 🏍️

A huge congratulations to the entire Riebke family on an incredible effort.

🏆 Noah ( #75) finished 1st in his class.
🏆 Dan ( #141) also took 1st in his class.
💪 Kurtis ( #71) unfortunately had his race come to an early end after breaking multiple sprockets, but his effort and determination were outstanding.

For the Riebke family, this wasn't just one weekend of racing—it's the result of years of dedication, preparation, training and sacrifice. Twenty-four hours of endurance racing is not for the faint-hearted, and simply lining up for the start is an achievement in itself.

Most importantly, everyone made it home safely—even if they're a little tired, sore and covered in mud!

Congratulations on an amazing weekend—you've all done yourselves proud! 👏🏍️💙

🏁 Good luck, Kurtis & Noah! 🏍️

Tomorrow, Kurtis ( #71) and Noah ( #75) take on the Hardi 24 Hour Enduro—one of Australia's toughest off-road endurance races.

We're proud to be supporting both riders this year and wish them, the entire Riebke crew, and every rider taking on the challenge a safe and successful weekend.

Ride smart, look after each other, and enjoy every moment out there.

We'll be cheering you all on! 👏🏁

Today we were the students instead of the trainers.

Occupational First Aid training with trainers from across SA and interstate, covering everything from major trauma to childbirth.

Usually I'm the one making students squirm with realistic scenarios... today it was the childbirth section that had me squirming instead! 😂

Looking forward to bringing this course to Northern Response Training soon.

🎉 We Have a Winner! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who entered our July Double Celebration Giveaway and shared your old-school first aid remedies. We had an absolute ball reading them all—some brought back memories, some made us laugh, and a few had us scratching our heads! 😂

😄 I'm surprised there aren't more old-school remedies being shared!

Surely someone else grew up with things like butter on burns, bread on bee stings, a spoonful of cod liver oil, or "walk it off!" 😂

Mine was strong scotch for motorbike injuries when help was a long way away.

🏍️ We can finally share what we've been working on!

Earlier this week we announced our sponsorship of Kurtis ( #71) and Noah ( #75) for this year's HARDI 24 Hour Reliability Trial and hinted that we had a few surprises we were keeping under wraps...

Now that they've received their packs, here's what's inside!

As riders ourselves, we wanted to create something practical that would still be useful long after the event. Every rider tag was individually designed and printed in-house, making each one unique to the rider. We also created personalised tags for their family and support crew—because we couldn't leave anyone out!

Each rider received:
🩹 A compact trauma first aid kit.
🏍️ A personalised HARDI rider tag featuring their race number.
👨‍👩‍👦 Matching personalised tags for their family and support crew.
❤️ A CPR face shield with a handy 30:2 reminder key tag.
✨ Northern Response Training stickers.

The rider tags are more than just a keepsake. On the reverse is our Motorcycle DRSABCD quick reference guide, giving riders and their support crew a simple reminder of what to do if they're first on scene at a motorcycle crash.

The trauma kits were put together with the critical priorities following a serious motorcycle crash in mind:
🩸 Catastrophic bleeding.
🫁 CPR if required.
🦴 Suspected fractures and stabilisation until help arrives.

(You might also spot our Motorbike First Aider patches in the photo. We've put these aside and they'll be presented once the riders complete our Motorcycle Crash Response Training.)

Every rider hopes they'll never need to open a trauma kit. We hope these come home untouched—but if they're ever needed, we hope they help make a difference.
