There’s nothing better than hearing about the positive connections our team builds with the people they support!

This week, we’re sharing some beautiful feedback recognising the friendship, trust and genuine connection developed between a staff member and a participant.

It’s a lovely reminder that the little moments, meaningful relationships and everyday interactions can make such a big difference. We’re so proud of our team for creating supportive environments where these connections can grow and flourish.

A huge thank you to our staff for the care, dedication and heart they bring to what they do every day. Your impact goes far beyond the shift! 🩵✨

A HUGE THANK YOU FROM SUMMIT ABILITIES!

Last Wednesday, we held our Breast Cancer Foundation Bake Sale, and what an absolutely amazing day it was!

We’re so excited to share that, together, we raised $443.37 for such an incredible cause! Every dollar counts, and we’re so proud of what our Summit community achieved.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated, purchased goodies, came along to show their support, or shared our event to help spread the word. Your generosity and involvement helped make the day such a success, and we appreciate every single one of you.

A special shout-out to our incredible Day Programs team and participants for getting busy in the kitchen and whipping up some absolutely delicious baked goodies! Your hard work, creativity and enthusiasm helped make our bake sale extra special.

And, of course, a huge thank you to our friends at Thompsons Pies for their generous donations. We’re so grateful for your support and for getting behind such an important cause.

Thank you again to everyone who played a part in making this day so special. We’re incredibly proud of what we achieved together and can’t wait to see what we can do next year! 💗🎀🧁

COME WORK WITH US

Yes, we’re sharing another recruitment post, but when a team is growing as quickly as ours, there’s always room for more amazing people!

Since opening our doors in March 2024, Summit Abilities has grown to a team of 55 employees supporting more than 120 participants. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but one milestone stands out in particular.

Our very first 15 employees are still with us today.

To us, that says so much about the culture we’ve built, the relationships we’ve formed and the supportive environment we strive to create every day. We believe that when people feel valued, supported and passionate about what they do, great things happen.

As we approach our third year, we’re excited to continue growing, creating meaningful opportunities and making a difference in the lives of the people we support.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we know there’s so much more ahead.

A day for inclusion, connection & community. 💙

Join us as we celebrate International Day of People with Disability at our Open Day at Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park.

A day filled with good company, fun activities and meaningful connections, bringing our community together to celebrate the things that make us unique.

Think live music, dancing, a free BBQ, a magic show, a petting zoo and plenty of opportunities to connect and enjoy the day together.
