Connection is where stronger regional health systems begin.

On Tuesday evening, members of the Cameron Wellness Centre team attended the NT PHN Allied Health Networking Event in Alice Springs - an important opportunity to connect with local professionals, exchange insights and strengthen relationships across the Central Australian allied health sector.

Our sincere thanks to Ann-Marie McDonald and Rell Werner from Ntphn for bringing the sector together and facilitating meaningful conversations about workforce sustainability, professional support, referral pathways and access to allied health services across regional and remote communities.

Our team pictured here is spending several days in Alice Springs this week supporting First Nations remote communities. We are incredibly proud of their commitment to delivering culturally responsive, person-centred and clinically governed care while continuing to build respectful relationships with the communities and partners we serve.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, we recognise that sustainable remote service delivery requires more than simply providing clinical capacity. It depends on collaboration, continuity, local knowledge, a supported workforce and partnerships grounded in trust and respect.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and working alongside others who share our commitment to improving access, capability and health outcomes across the Northern Territory.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, we are proud to continue building a team that reflects our values of Family, Community, Trust and Respect - and we are thrilled to have CJ joining us on that journey.

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ 50 Years of Deadly ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿค

This NAIDOC Week, Cameron Wellness Centre proudly joins communities across Australia in recognising and celebrating 50 years of NAIDOC - a powerful legacy of culture, truth-telling, resistance, leadership and pride.

The 2026 theme, โ€œ50 Years of Deadlyโ€, honours the Elders, organisers, artists, leaders, families and communities who have shaped this movement and continue to carry it forward with strength, purpose and heart.

At CWC, this theme deeply aligns with who we are and why we exist. Across our work, we remain committed to walking alongside First Nations peoples, families and communities with respect, trust, cultural humility and genuine partnership.

NAIDOC is more than a week. It is a reminder to listen deeply, learn continually, celebrate proudly and keep doing the work - not just during NAIDOC Week, but every day.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We honour the voices, stories, cultures and enduring connections to Country of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Still deadly. Always.

A beautiful night with our Darwin team at the Darwin Ski Club ๐ŸŒ…

Last week, our Directors Dean and Reece spent time in Darwin connecting with the team, sharing a meal, and celebrating the people behind the work we do every day.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, we know that great allied health care starts with great relationships - with our participants, our communities, and each other.

Our Darwin team continues to show what it means to deliver care with heart, clinical excellence, cultural responsiveness, and genuine connection across the NT.

Grateful for this team, the work they do, and the culture we are building together ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ

National Reconciliation Week is a time to reflect, listen, learn and recommit to the ongoing work of reconciliation.

This yearโ€™s theme, All In, is a powerful reminder that reconciliation is not passive - it requires courage, accountability, respect and action from all of us.

As a First Nations and Supply Nation allied health provider, Cameron Wellness Centre recognises the importance of walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families and communities in a way that is culturally responsive, strengths-based and grounded in trust.

For us, reconciliation is not limited to one week. It must be reflected in how we show up, how we listen, how we build relationships, and how we deliver care that respects each personโ€™s story, culture and connection to community.

This National Reconciliation Week, we reaffirm our commitment to being All In - not just in words, but through meaningful action, genuine partnership and continued learning.

A very proud week for our Cameron Wellness Centre team as we celebrate our newest graduates from Charles Darwin University and La Trobe University ๐ŸŽ“โœจ

Congratulations to Brittney Davis, Emma Ward and Grainne McCormick, who have graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from Charles Darwin University.

Congratulations also to Emma Huang and Jersyn Doh, who have graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University, and Caitlin Aldcroft, who has graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from La Trobe University.

Each of you should be incredibly proud of this milestone. Graduation represents years of commitment, discipline, learning, reflection and growth - and it is also the beginning of an exciting new chapter as allied health professionals.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, we are privileged to support emerging clinicians as they step into meaningful careers across Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology. Our new graduates bring energy, curiosity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of the children, families, and communities we support.

We are proud to walk alongside you as you continue to grow, learn and contribute to the future of allied health.

Congratulations again, Brittney, Emma W, Grainne, Emma H, Jersyn and Caitlin - we are so proud to have you as part of the CWC team ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ

Today we honour the mothers, mother figures, grandmothers, aunties, carers and special people who give so much of themselves - often quietly, often selflessly, and always with love.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, we are privileged to work alongside families every day. We see the strength it takes to advocate, nurture, support, encourage and keep showing up, even on the days that feel heavy.

Motherโ€™s Day is a moment to pause and recognise the people who hold space for others, who celebrate every small step forward, and who remind us that care is one of the most powerful forms of love.

To all the incredible women and mother figures in our community - we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today.

Happy Motherโ€™s Day from all of us at Cameron Wellness Centre. ๐Ÿ’—
