✨ FINAL THURSDAY OF TERM 3 — BAM DANCE✨

And just like that, our Thursday BAM Dance class has wrapped up for Term 3!💜🌈

Our Question of the Week conversations continue to be such an important part of our classes. You’ll notice in this video that while not every dancer chooses to be on camera, you may still hear their voices — and I think that’s important. 🎥✨

Being on video is always a choice, but every dancer’s voice is still valued. Some of our dancers have wonderful thoughts, stories and perspectives to share but simply don’t want to be filmed — and that’s absolutely okay. We can listen without needing to see them. 💕

Now it’s time for a two-week break from our regular BAM Dance classes, but there’s still plenty happening! 🙌 We have our showcase workshops during the holidays, and I’m super excited to start bringing everything together for our next BIG performance!!!

After our incredible Wakakirri journey, it’s now onwards and upwards to our end-of-year SHOWCASE! 💃🕺🎭✨

Thank you to our Thursday dancers for another fabulous term. Enjoy the break, recharge those batteries, and I can’t wait to see what Term 4 brings! 💜

🌟✨ WAKAKIRRI WRAP-UP — WHAT AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY! ✨🌟

What an amazing experience our first ever Wakakirri journey has been! 💜

From the very first day of learning choreography, exploring characters, attending workshops, rehearsing together and stepping onto the stage — this group of incredible dancers created something truly special. 🌈

We are so proud to celebrate our achievements with our:

🏆 Health and Wellbeing State Award
🏅 Certificate of Excellence
🌟 National Nominee Certificate

I recently had the opportunity to take photos of all our amazing dancers celebrating these achievements with their certificates, and I couldn’t be more excited to share these special moments with you all. 📸💜

But beyond the awards, the biggest highlight has been the journey itself — the friendships formed, the support shown to each other, the confidence that grew and the incredible community that was created along the way. 💕

I asked our dancers what their highlight of Wakakirri was — from learning the choreography, workshops, rehearsals and performances — and their answers were beautiful. 🥰

A huge thank you to every dancer, family, support person and everyone who helped make this experience possible. Our dancers showed courage, commitment and teamwork every step of the way, and I feel incredibly grateful to have shared this journey with them. 💜

This week our dancers got to dream big and imagine the perfect getaway! ✈️🌏

Our Question of the Week was:

💭 “If you could choose your dream holiday destination, where would you go?”🌴✨

It was wonderful hearing everyone’s different ideas — from relaxing escapes to exciting adventures, everyone had their own special place they would love to visit. 💜

These little conversations are such a beautiful part of BAM Dance. They give our dancers the opportunity to share their thoughts, learn more about each other and celebrate the things that make each person unique. 🌈

✨ QUESTION OF THE WEEK — BAM DANCE ✨

🌈 Monday Contemporary Class — Question of the Week 🌈

Yesterday was our final Monday Contemporary class for Term 4, and our question was:

💭 “Where would your dream holiday destination be?” ✈️🌏

What started as a fun question became a beautiful reminder of why I love our BAM Dance community so much. 💜

Our dancers come into class carrying different feelings and experiences, and every emotion is welcome. Yesterday, one of our dancers chose to share that they were feeling sad, which created a beautiful moment of connection, kindness and support within the group. ✨

At BAM Dance, we meet our dancers where they are. Sharing is always a choice — some dancers choose to share their thoughts, while others choose to listen, and both are equally valued. 💕

This is why I love starting classes with freestyle movement. Dance gives us a way to express what we feel, release emotions and tell our stories without always needing words. 🌈

Dance is so much more than steps — it’s connection, confidence, expression and belonging. 💜

Thank you to our Monday Contemporary dancers for creating such a caring and supportive space for each other.
