There are the times, when you know that you’re right where you need to be.
Even if it’s the shopping centre.
A moment in time becomes more.
A soul connection needs no words ❤️🙏

There are people who ask, “How are you?” because it’s the polite thing to say.

And then there are the rare souls who ask because they’re truly prepared to hear the answer.

I’ve been thinking a lot about our safe people lately those precious people who don’t try to fix us, don’t rush us, don’t judge us. They simply hold space. They witness our pain, allow our vulnerability, and remind us that it’s okay not to be okay.

A few weeks ago, my husband Glenn went into cardiac arrest and flatlined three times. By the grace of Spirit, the incredible paramedics, medical teams and surgeons, he survived, underwent open-heart surgery, and is now home recovering. I’m so grateful beyond words.

Since then, so many people have kindly asked, “How’s Glenn?”

My answer is usually, “He’s doing well. It’s a long road, but we’re getting there.”

It’s an easy answer. A safe answer.

But the other day, while doing the grocery shopping, I unexpectedly ran into my dear friend Janice.

Many of you know I’ve been having massages with Janice for years in her beautiful treatment room in Healesville. Her treatments are so much more than a massage. She intuitively selects essential oils that seem to be exactly what I need every single time, and I’ve happily recommended her to many people over the years.

She looked at me with those kind, gentle eyes and simply asked, “Are you okay?”

That was all it took.

The floodgates opened. Right there in the middle of the shopping centre, I could barely hold myself together.
There was no judgement. No awkwardness. No need to explain or apologise.

Just a calm, nurturing presence that made me feel completely safe.
Sometimes that’s the greatest gift we can offer another person, not advice, not answers, but our presence.

Janice, thank you for being one of the very few people I feel safe enough to completely surrender with. Thank you for holding space for me when I didn’t even realise how much I needed it. Essence

You are one of my Earth Angels, and I will never forget your kindness.

To everyone reading this, cherish your safe people… and whenever you can, be that safe person for someone else.

You may never fully realise how much your quiet presence can help carry another soul through one of life’s most difficult moments.

Sunday morning for taking it slow.
Sit and watch the cows go by, maybe a kookaburra will call in, or a kangaroo, as you just sit and sip your water or tea while your waiting for your daughter to have her birthday massage this morning, and when she’s done it’s your turn. It doesn’t have to be a birthday, but today it is 💜

Facebook gave me a memory during the week, one that I’ve sat with for a couple of days.
13 years ago I completed my massage therapy exams. That same year I also completed my diploma in Aromatherapy and moved house.
13 years!
Some of you have been with me since the student clinic days, thank you.
Some of you come and you go, and you come and go, thank you.
Some of you who come when you can, thank you.
There’s those of you who have just found me, I thank you.
And to those of you who think about it and are almost ready to reach out and make the booking, I’m here for you too.
Whoever you are and however long you’ve been coming for, you mean the world to me I never really thought 13 years ago that this dream would have happened and I’m so grateful and proud of this space I have here for you to come in and just be. Just as you are.

After many discussions this week with fellow colleagues, friends and family I’ve decided it’s time to slightly increase my pricing.
You all know I believe deeply in making sure you can afford your treatments here and will walk away feeling comfortable and completely satisfied that you’ve made an investment in yourself that feels good in every way.
This is not something I do lightly or easily, so I do thank you for your support.
I’m not big into advertising my pricing online, as it’s a personal thing, so message me please.
- one hr massage increase $10.
- 90 min massage increase $10.
- 90 min massage with hot stones remains the same.
- 90 min with hot stones and facial massage remains the same.
- mobile massage increase $20.
