Repeating new words, phrases or grammatical structures for your little person is really helpful when teaching them new language! Just like when you’re learning a new skill, you need to practise by watching and trying that skill multiple times! Repetitions give our little friend opportunities to hear language and maybe even try it out for themselves. E.g. “I have a dog. Look at the dog! The dog is brown. It’s a big dog!” Can you guess my target word? 🐶
