Something beautiful emerged from the conversations that followed last week's question. As people shared their stories, I noticed something that kept showing up again and again.
It wasn't that people were looking for answers.
It wasn't that they needed another strategy, another course, another book or another solution.
What many seemed to be searching for was permission.
Permission to be honest.
Permission to stop pretending they were okay when they weren't.
Permission to say out loud what they had been carrying quietly and in some cases, what they hadn't even admitted to themselves.
The more I sat with those conversations, the more I realised that reconnection often begins there.
Not with fixing.
Not with solving.
Not with finding the perfect next step.
But with honesty. Simple, unfiltered honesty.
The willingness to say, "This is where I am."
"This is what I'm feeling."
"This is what's true for me right now."
Because something shifts when we stop fighting our reality and start telling ourselves the truth about it.
And maybe that's enough.
Maybe the first step isn't becoming someone different.
Maybe it's simply being honest about where you are today.
So I sat down and recorded a Soul Conversation about what I've been witnessing, both in these conversations and in my own life.
Episode 88 of my podcast is now live.
If you've been feeling disconnected from yourself, or carrying things that you've struggled to put into words, I think you'll find something in this conversation.

And remember, sometimes the most healing thing we can do is stop trying to be somewhere else and gently tell the truth about where we are.
