Ever wondered what the green rectangle marks are on guide posts on the highway??

Those green markers are actually a brilliant 3-2-1 countdown system designed to let you know that a safe, informal pull-over area is coming up.

Here is how to read the countdown system as you drive:

3 Green Reflectors: A safe pull-over area is approximately 500 metres ahead, giving you plenty of time to indicate your intentions and slow down safely.

2 Green Reflectors: The pull-over spot is now about 250 metres ahead.

1 Green Reflector: You have arrived at the spot where you can safely pull off the road.

Keep an eye out for them on your next road trip.

A big thank you to Skilled Trees Services for inviting us out to facilitate CPR and First Aid training for their crew.

We had a fantastic day working with such an engaged group. While completing this training ensures the company meets its essential workplace safety compliance, the day was focused on practical, hands-on skills. The crew learned how to care for various types of wounds, practiced different bandaging techniques, and mastered patient assessment protocols.

We also introduced the crew to the new Neffy adrenaline nasal spray device, ensuring they are up to date with the latest innovations in emergency allergy and anaphylaxis management.

Arboriculture is a high-risk industry, we tailored this training specifically to the unique environment and challenges the team faces daily. The skills practiced during our session will ensure the crew is better prepared, confident, and equipped to handle any unplanned emergencies that may occur on the job.

Today, the best in vocational education and training gathered at The Ville, and we could not be prouder.

While Peta didn't take home the top trophy, she was officially named one of the top 3 VET Trainer/Teacher of the year for Northern Queensland. 👏 This incredible recognition is a true testament to her absolute dedication, passion, and impact on vocational education.

It was an amazing event full of inspiration, and Peta is super proud of how far she has come. We are absolutely bursting with pride for everything she has achieved.
