Not even close. A day usually starts with a welcome and a plan, then the group picks from real activities: cooking 🍳, art, music, gardening, games, or a community outing. It's social, it's hands-on, and it's built around what people actually enjoy, not a fixed timetable.

There's a myth that independence means doing everything by yourself. For a lot of the people we support, real independence is simpler than that, it's having a say. Picking the activity 🎨, choosing what's for lunch 🍽️, deciding how the day goes ☀️. Our job is to make room for those choices, not make them for you 🤝.

Choice and control isn't just NDIS wording to us, it's how we show up every day 💜.

This week the Bundaberg crew swapped the usual room for a morning at the botanic gardens. A proper wander, a bit of birdwatching, and shared moments on a bench in the sun. 🌞 Getting out into the community is support too, and everyone earned their afternoon rest.
