We understand how frustrating it is that we have limited appointments available and lack in female GPs.

Please understand the recruitment process takes time.

The process ensures the doctors we employ are safe and a good fit for the practice and the community as well as navigating all the government approval pathways.

We are currently awaiting arrival of Dr Parsa (male) and AHPRA approval for Dr Chandrika (female) who is a friend of Dr Sam’s. We hope to see them arrive before Christmas.

In the meantime we have engaged a few locums to assist until they arrive.

Please be understanding and know we are doing what we can to ensure services continue at Ingham Family Medical Practice.

We have a female locum for the next two weeks, her name is Dr Serena Keating.

Interestingly, about 30 years ago she used to work at the mill as an Engineer so she may be a familiar face to some of our cane farmers in the community.
