Have you completed your Census yet? 📣

The Census helps build a picture of who lives in our town and the services our community needs now and into the future.

Data from the Census is used by governments, businesses and community organisations to plan services, infrastructure and support programs.

If you spend 50% or more of your time in the City of Karratha, you should be counted here in the Census, even if you spend your time off elsewhere. (This includes many FIFO and DIDO workers on common rosters such as 2:1 and 3:1)

Every response helps inform decisions about:
👉 Health services
👉 Housing
👉 Schools and education
👉 Roads and infrastructure
👉 Community facilities and recreation spaces

Have questions or need help completing your Census? Not sure where you should be counted?

Check out the support sessions available this week and chat with the ABS team.

Every person counted helps build a more accurate picture of our community and supports future planning across the Pilbara.

Tomorrow is Census Day! 📣

Getting the Census right matters for our community.
Census data helps governments plan funding for:
- Housing and community facilities
- Parks and recreation spaces
- Hospitals and Health Services
- Schools and childcare
- Roads and transport
If people are not counted, we can miss out on the services and funding required for the actual number of people in our City.

Together, let's make sure everyone who lives, works or spends 50% or more of their time in the City of Karratha is counted on Census night, Tuesday 11 August.
