🎉 Big news, Tasmania! 🎉

We're thrilled to announce that ProMED Tasmania has been officially granted its Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) licence for low and medium-acuity transport by the Tasmanian Department of Health!

This is a huge milestone for our team and a proud moment for the business. It reflects months of hard work, dedication, and a genuine commitment to raising the standard of patient transport services across the state.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be rolling out our formal NEPT operations — bringing safe, professional, and compassionate non-emergency patient transport to the Tasmanian community.

It was a weekend of motorsports for the ProMED Tasmania team! 🏁 🏍️ 🏎️

The team were out and about at Symons Plains for the Single Spirnt event, Baskerville for the Sports Riders Club of Tasmania Ride Day, Peron Dunes for the Off Road Racing Tasmania St Helens Screamer and Carlton River for the Motorcycle Enduro Riders Club Inc Round 2 Grass Track.

It’s been a huge few weeks for the ProMED Tasmania crew, with our teams out across the state supporting some fantastic events!

Recently, we’ve been providing medical coverage at Multiverse 2026, SPOKE Motorcycle Festival, Huon Show Showjumping, North Western Kart Club, AusCycling BMX State Series, Baskerville Raceway, and the Tas Gravity Enduro Series 🚑

And we’re not slowing down anytime soon…
This weekend, our teams will be on the ground at Good Gumnuts Festival 2026, Red Hot Summer Tour, Gowrie Park Rodeo, Tasmania's Seafood Festival, Steamfest Tasmania, Motorcycle Enduro Riders Club Inc, and the Athletics Tasmania LA State Championships. Behind every safe festival is a huge team working quietly (and sometimes not so quietly 😉) in the background!

At Party In The Paddock 2026, more than 180 clinical and non-clinical ProMED Tasmania staff came together to support one of Tasmania’s biggest events - from medics, paramedics, nurses and doctors, to logistics, comms, operations and PartySMART crew members.

We’re incredibly proud of this team and the professionalism, compassion and energy they bring!
