🎀 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH OCTOBER 🎀
This October, the team at Rossiter Road Medical Centre is wearing PINK to show our support for everyone affected by breast cancer. 💗
Breast cancer can affect anyone, and knowing the signs can help you seek medical advice early.
💗 Know the signs
See your doctor if you notice a new or unusual change, including:
• A new lump, lumpiness or thickening in the breast
• A change in the size or shape of your breast
• Dimpling, puckering, redness or other skin changes
• Unusual or persistent breast pain
• Changes to the ni**le, including a ni**le turning inward
• Ni**le discharge, particularly clear or bloody discharge
• Swelling or a lump around the armpit or collarbone
These changes do not necessarily mean cancer, but they should be checked by a doctor. Breast cancer can also occur without noticeable symptoms, which is why appropriate screening is important.
🎀 This October, we wear pink to support:
💗 Those currently fighting
💗 Those who have survived
💗 Those we remember
💗 Those who will face it in the future
