That tight neck and the knot between your shoulder blades.

That ache around the ribs or shoulder. It may not be one muscle causing it.

Your body works as a chain — muscles like the splenius (neck), rhomboids (upper back), serratus anterior (ribs/shoulder blade), traps, chest and surrounding fascia all work together to support movement and posture. When one area becomes tight, weak, or overloaded, another area often takes the hit.
