Ever spent more time avoiding a task than actually doing it? 🙋‍♀️

ADHD brains are brilliant at finding literally anything else to do when a task feels overwhelming.

The frustrating part?

The task we’re avoiding is often much smaller than the story anxiety is telling us about it.

I used to think procrastination meant I lacked motivation.

What I’ve learned through my own journey and supporting women with ADHD is that procrastination is often a nervous system response to overwhelm, perfectionism or fear of getting it wrong.

The good news?

There are ways to work with your brain instead of fighting against it.

✨ Counselling isn’t just for when life falls apart.

It’s for the woman who looks like she’s coping on the outside but feels exhausted on the inside.

The woman who keeps saying “I’m fine” while carrying the mental load of everyone around her.

The woman navigating:
• ADHD and overwhelm
• Anxiety and constant overthinking
• Relationship challenges
• Burnout and emotional exhaustion
• Motherhood and identity shifts
• Perimenopause and menopause
• Trauma that still shows up years later
• The feeling that something needs to change but not knowing where to start

Counselling matters because sometimes you need a space where you don’t have to be the strong one.

A space where you’re not fixing, solving, organising, remembering, planning, or holding it all together.

Just a space to be heard.

To make sense of what’s happening.

To reconnect with yourself beneath the stress, expectations, and responsibilities.

Because the longer we ignore what we’re carrying, the heavier it becomes.
