Why massage? Why not.
Sometimes it’s the obvious stuff — your neck is tight, your back is cranky, your legs are heavy after training.
And sometimes it’s not.
Sometimes you’ve been sitting at a desk all week, carrying kids, sleeping badly, running on stress, or just pushing through because there’s always something else that needs doing.
Massage can help reduce muscle tension and soreness, ease pain, support recovery and help your body relax.
It can also sit really well alongside physio and exercise rehab. I regularly see people referred by physiotherapists and exercise physiologists, including after injury or surgery. Massage isn’t there to replace the work — it’s another tool that can help along the way.
You don’t need to wait until your body is screaming at you.
A stiff neck, tired legs, that “I feel like I’m holding everything in my shoulders” feeling… they count too.
Sometimes the reason for a massage is simply: I’d like to feel better in my body.
And really, that’s reason enough.
