So much of healing begins with slowing down enough to notice what your body is already holding.
Not forcing.
Not analysing.
Just gently becoming aware.
Because many women move through life disconnected from what’s happening underneath the surface—
pushing through, holding it together, carrying more than they realise.
This is often where I begin with women in sessions too.
Not by trying to “fix” them…
but by helping them reconnect with themselves safely, gently, and without judgement.
Your body has been communicating with you all along 🤍

There comes a point in healing where you realise…
you’re tired of surviving everything by yourself.
Tired of always being the strong one.
Tired of overholding.
Tired of carrying the emotional weight of everything alone.
And maybe a part of you is starting to long for something softer now.
To feel supported.
To feel safe in your body.
To stop bracing quite so tightly against life.
This is the work I hold space for with women.
Gentle, body-led healing that helps you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe, grounded, and deeply supportive.
You don’t have to force your way there alone 🤍

If this speaks to you, my DMs are always open.

There is a quiet grief that lives underneath motherhood.

Not grief for your children. Never that. That love is fierce and it doesn't waver.

But grief for the parts of you that went quiet in the tending. The part that was once a little wild. That would go out without a plan, stay too late, skinny dip, say yes to things just because they sounded alive.
The part of you that was free.

That part didn't leave because motherhood broke something in you. It dimmed because the world asks so much of mothers — and there isn't always space to be everything you are and do all of that at the same time.

So you got smaller. Not because you are less. But because something had to give.

And that is a grief. A quiet one. One that doesn't have a name or a funeral or a clear moment you can point to.
But it's real. And it deserves to be acknowledged.

Invitation to reflect: What part of you has gone quiet that you miss the most?

Save this if it landed. Share it with a mother who needs to feel seen today.

So many women think healing means fixing themselves.
Becoming better. More disciplined. More “together.”
But so much of this work is actually about softening.
Letting your body experience what it’s like to not always be bracing.
To not always be holding everything alone.
To feel safe enough to receive support…
rest…
care…
love.
Not just intellectually.
But in your body too.
This is the work I guide women through 🤍

So many women carry the belief that their needs are “too much.”
Too emotional.
Too sensitive.
Too needy.
So they learn to minimise themselves.
To ask for less.
To hold more on their own.
But often… it’s not that you’re too much at all.
It’s that your body became used to not being fully supported, fully seen, fully held.
And over time, needing things started to feel uncomfortable.
Unsafe, even.
This is why healing isn’t about becoming “less needy.”
It’s about gently teaching your body that it’s safe to have needs too.

So many women move through life bracing without even realising it.
Holding tension in the body.
Staying alert.
Pushing through.
And after a while, it starts to feel normal.
But healing doesn’t always begin with huge breakthroughs.
Sometimes it begins with tiny moments where your body experiences even a little more softness…
a little more safety…
a little less holding.
This is your reminder today to pause for a moment and come back to yourself 🤍

Sometimes independence is celebrated so much
we never stop to ask where it came from.
Were you truly supported?
Or did your body learn early that relying on yourself felt safer?
Because there’s a difference between being capable…
and feeling like you have to hold everything alone.
And over time, that holding becomes exhausting.
Even if you’re good at it.
This week, instead of judging yourself for struggling to receive…
just get curious about what your body has learned to expect.
🤍

So many women think there’s something wrong with them because they struggle to receive support, rest, love, care…
But your body is always paying attention to what has felt safe for you over time.
If you’ve learned to rely on yourself…
if being vulnerable didn’t feel emotionally safe…
if you had to hold everything together…
then receiving won’t automatically feel relaxing.
Sometimes it feels uncomfortable.
Sometimes your body braces before you even realise it.
This is why healing isn’t just about changing your thoughts.
Your body needs safety too.

I didn’t realise this was something I had learned.
For a long time, I thought this was just who I was—
independent, capable, the one who holds everything together.
But underneath that…
was a pattern shaped over time.
Becoming a mum at 18 meant I felt like I had something to prove.
That I could be good enough. Loving enough.
That I could do it right.
And without even realising it,
I learned to overgive.
To sacrifice.
To not need too much.
Because that felt safer.
It’s taken me years to see that this wasn’t just my personality—
it was something my body had learned to do.
And now, gently…
I’m learning something different.
If you see yourself in this, you’re not alone 🤍
