Balmoral Village was proud to participate in the national AusAlert test, with residents gathering in the Community Centre to take part in this important emergency preparedness initiative.

We were delighted to welcome Channel 10, who visited the village to film the event and highlight the importance of staying informed during emergency situations.

The segment showcased Balmoral's strong community spirit, with residents enthusiastically participating and demonstrating the value of being prepared and connected.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Last week, we brought a little of Glasgow, Scotland to Balmoral as we celebrated our very own Balmoral Commonwealth Games with plenty of fun, laughter, friendly competition and wonderful community spirit! 🏅🎉

🏆 Congratulations to our winning teams:
🥇 1st Place: Guys & Dolls – Graham, Anne, Viv and Noel
🥈 2nd Place: Awesome Foursome – Karen, Freda, Margaret & Joy
🥉 3rd Place: Go Girls – Anne, Brenda, Margaret & Levena

👏 A heartfelt thank you to all 8 teams who participated. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, sportsmanship and willingness to get involved made the games such a fun and memorable event for everyone.

🤠⭐ Yee Haw! What a Fantastic Night at Balmoral! ⭐🤠

Our Country & Western Themed Dinner was a wonderful success, with residents embracing the theme and enjoying a great evening of delicious food and plenty of laughter.

A big thank you to everyone who dressed up and joined in the fun. From cowboy hats and boots to plenty of smiles, it was a memorable night for all!

A big thank you to the Branch Manager from Commonwealth Bank Stud Park for visiting Balmoral Village to present an informative Scam Awareness Information Session.

Residents learned how to recognise common scams, stay safe online, protect their personal information, and feel more confident when using technology.

Balmoral Residents Celebrate Balmoral Cup Victory!!!
Congratulations to Balmoral Gardens Village residents Marlene Storer and Lorraine Bennett, who, alongside teammate Graeme Durrant, won the 2026 Balmoral Cup as part of Team Doobies!
After ten weeks of friendly competition, Team Doobies claimed a thrilling grand final victory over The Fire Birds to secure the championship title.
We are proud to have sponsored the competition and hosted rounds on our village greens. Well done to all players, organisers and volunteers who made this year's Balmoral Cup such a success.

Many thanks to all the helpers and residents that enjoyed our wonderful morning tea last week, raising much need funds for the Cancer Council of Australia.

What a fantastic evening at our Korean Theme Dinner Night at Balmoral! 😊

Residents enjoyed a delicious meal, great company and lots of laughs while trying some tasty Korean favourites including Bibimbap and Korean Fried Chicken 🍚🍗🥢

It was a great priviledge to go along to Balmoral Village this morning, to wish not one, but three lovely ladies, a very Happy 100th Birthday.

Max Williams - Liberal for Rowville and I met with Eveline (100 in February), Peg (100 in March) and Joy who turned 100 yesterday.

These ladies attribute their longevity to the wonderful social life that they experience at Balmoral Village. Thank you to Board Members, Jonathan and Robin who also attended the celebration.

We shared the loveliest day at Balmoral Village celebrating an extraordinary milestone — the 100th birthdays of three very special ladies: Eveline, Joy & Peg 💐

The room was simply stunning in soft, pink, creating the most warm and joyful atmosphere for such a meaningful occasion 💕

It was an afternoon filled with love, laughter, and treasured moments — a chance to honour a century of beautiful lives, stories, and memories. We feel so lucky to have been part of something so rare and special 💖

Eveline, Joy and Peg have all called Balmoral home for many years, and it holds such a special place in their hearts — a place they truly love.
