A very special congratulations to Dr Mel Tai-Roche, who has been named the 2026 Excellence Awards NSW/ACT Registrar of the Year! 🎉

This award recognises ACRRM registrars who are highly engaged in their training and Fellowship progression, with a strong commitment to rural, remote and First Nations communities.

Recipients demonstrate outstanding patient care, leadership in their region, advocacy for registrars and an active contribution to the ACRRM Rural Generalist Fellowship Program.

We couldn’t think of anyone more deserving.

🌸 Women’s health deserves time, experience and understanding.

At Milton Family Medical Practice, women’s health appointments are taken seriously.

Our experienced team of female doctors provide care across all stages of a woman’s life, with particular experience in women’s health, perimenopause and menopause.

Appointments are available every day of the week, and we can usually offer an appointment within the same week you book.

Our team includes Dr Meike Flore and Dr Mel Tai-Roche, both GP Obstetricians who also work on the gynaecology roster at Shoalhaven Hospital, bringing hospital and specialist experience back into everyday general practice care.

Our experienced team also includes Dr Monique Scott, Dr Emma Thompson, Dr Sarah Faigenbaum and Dr Gen Burt, all of whom are available for menopause care, advice and comprehensive assessments.

Whether you have questions about changing cycles, contraception, perimenopause, menopause, sexual health, pelvic health or simply something that doesn’t feel quite right — you deserve to be heard and taken seriously.

Today we farewelled the delightful and irreplaceable Bianca. Bianca started with us as a junior receptionist before embarking on a new role of Medical Practice Assistant.

You may have had Bianca assist with your skin procedure, performed your ECG, removed sutures or fitted a heart bug with grace and efficiency.

We will miss her dearly but it is time for her to spread her wings and travel the world.

One thing we know for sure is that wherever she goes and whatever she does, her brilliant smile will warm the hearts of everyone she meets 💕

Our experienced team of female GPs - Dr Meike Flore, Dr Emma Thompson, Dr Monique Scott and Dr Mel Tai Roche, lead our dedicated Menopause Clinics. These dedicated clinics provide additional time to discuss your health concerns and management options.

These extended consultations may be suitable for women who would like to:
• Discuss symptoms
• Explore management options, including lifestyle approaches and medical treatments
• Review general health and wellbeing during midlife
• Seek information and support around perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause

New patients are welcome. Menopause health visits are bulk billed and provide specific care to women experiencing symptoms.

A big warm welcome to Dr Jonathan Chan.

Jonathan moved from Sydney to the South Coast to settle down and become part of the local community. He is a Rural Generalist Registrar passionate about providing accessible, patient-centred care to rural communities.

Jonathan has special interests in Paediatrics, preventative medicine and the management of chronic health conditions. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages and values building long-term relationships with individuals and families to support their health and wellbeing.

Jonathan is passionate about the future of rural and regional healthcare and exploring how innovation, artificial intelligence and technology can be integrated to improve healthcare delivery and enhance patient-centred care.

Outside of medicine, Jonathan enjoys cooking, playing piano, swimming, and spending time with his pet budgie Stella. 😃
