Last night our clients celebrated the end of the bowling season 1 2026. 🎉
We had LOTS of smiling faces and laughs.😂😃

This Saturday night, our Team Leader Phil Ackland will step onto the dancefloor for Swinging with the Stars 2026.

Many people in the community have known for a while that Phil is taking part, but with the event now only days away, it is a good time to share his official Stand Like Stone pre-event video again.

Phil is dancing with Jemma Jarnevic and raising funds for Stand Like Stone’s Dr Sue Charlton AM Memorial Sub-Fund, supporting paediatric health outcomes for babies and families in the Limestone Coast.

At Limestone Coast Ability, we see every day how much community support, inclusion and opportunity can matter. Phil brings those values into his work with us, and many people will also know him through his involvement in local events, including Tower Trail Run and Mount Gambier parkrun.

He is usually much more comfortable working behind the scenes than being centre stage, so this has been a very different kind of challenge. But it is for a meaningful local cause, and we are proud to support him as he heads into the final week.

The LCA Day Options kitchen smelt amazing today with homemade pinwheels and sausage rolls on the menu – and they were absolutely delicious! 😋

Everyone got stuck in, helping with measuring ingredients, mixing, rolling pastry, stirring fillings, and reading recipes to create some fantastic results.

Cooking activities like these are about so much more than making tasty treats. They provide opportunities to learn and build everyday life skills, increase independence, develop confidence, and build capacity in a fun and practical way.

Well done to everyone involved – the teamwork, effort, and enthusiasm were outstanding! 👏🍴

Sometimes it's nice to just get away.

A small group recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Warrnambool, making the most of everything the region has to offer. The adventure included a visit to the beautiful Hopkins Falls, some whale watching, bowling and time to relax at the Deep Blue Hot Springs.

Whether it was soaking in the warm mineral pools or taking on the challenge of a refreshing ice bath, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

**What an incredible morning at LCA Day Options!** 👮🚔

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome some very special visitors today when our local **Police** came in to spend the morning with our amazing guys! 🌟

Not only did we have an incredibly valuable and engaging **education session**, but our participants got hands-on experience trying on **hats, vests and handcuffs** and even got an up-close look through the **police cars!** As well as Nikita passing her bretho.. 🚗✨

Building capacity, independence and real-world connections** that matter! 💪❤️

THANK YOU** to our local police for giving up their time and bringing so much energy and enthusiasm to our guys — you were absolutely wonderful! 👏👏
