Celebrating 10 Years of Rob Skelly – 2016–2026

Today we say farewell to another very special member of the Krause Health & Safety family as we celebrate the retirement of our one and only “Windswept and Interesting” – Rob Skelly!
Rob, after 10 wonderful years with KHS, you leave behind a legacy of knowledge, experience, friendship and more than a few good laughs along the way.
With your extensive background as an electrician and your wealth of experience across the mining industry, you have been our go-to minesite guy, sharing your knowledge and practical expertise with countless students over the years. Your skills have certainly extended beyond the classroom, with the odd bit of in-house electrical expertise thrown in for good measure!
Your dedication to delivering quality training, your no-nonsense approach and your ability to share real-world experience have made you an invaluable part of our team. And we know it won't just be us who will miss seeing you around – your impact has reached far beyond KHS and into the many minesites and workplaces you've been a part of.
But more than anything, Rob, it's the person you are that we will miss most. The stories, the laughs, the banter and the friendship. You've never been just a workmate – you've become part of our family.
As you head off into this next chapter, we hope it's filled with some time relaxing on the coast, a few good whiskies, great company and absolutely no early morning alarms! You've certainly earned the chance to put your feet up and enjoy the finer things in life.
Thank you for everything, Rob. For the knowledge, the loyalty, the laughs and, most importantly, the friendship.
You will be missed more than you know, but you'll always have a place here at KHS. And don't be a stranger – retirement doesn't mean you're getting rid of us that easily!
Our workmate. Our friend. Our family.
Enjoy your well-earned retirement, Windswept!

Today we celebrate an incredible career as we say farewell to Wayne Wright on his retirement after 16 years with us (2010–2026).

Wayne, you have been an integral part of shaping Krause Health & Safety into what it is today. Your passion for creating safer communities has been evident in everything you do, driven by your long and dedicated career as a paramedic and strengthened through your work as a safety advisor.

Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom. Most of the courses our students complete have been touched in some way by your knowledge, experience, and commitment to excellence. For you, it has never been about ticking a box — it’s about ensuring every student walks away with the confidence, skills, and understanding to stay safe in their workplace and to support others in their most vulnerable moments.

Your leadership, mentorship, and friendship are truly second to none. You are a credit to the training profession, and your legacy will continue to live on through the many people you have taught and inspired.

Wayne-o, you will be greatly missed. Wishing you a very well-deserved break and a long, happy, and fulfilling retirement — and remember, the door is always open if you feel like taking a break from retirement!
