This National Carers Week, we’re recognising the important role carers play in supporting the people in their lives. 💛

Caring can be rewarding, but it can also take time, energy and emotional space. Looking after your own wellbeing is important, too.

We also acknowledge that carers can be young people themselves, balancing caring responsibilities alongside their own wellbeing.

Here are three ways to make space for yourself and your wellbeing while caring for a young person. To learn more, click here: https://bit.ly/4ylNiQc

Exam season can be a high-pressure time for young people, and having support around them can make it feel a little easier to navigate. 💛

Being available, helping create space to switch off and reminding them that their results don’t define them can all be valuable forms of support.

Supporting a young person through study decisions can mean helping them explore their options, rather than having all the answers.

From choosing a course to figuring out what comes next, a little encouragement and an open conversation can help them feel more confident in making decisions that work for them.
