Ways to calm your nervous system:
- Slow your breathing
- Relax your jaw, drop your shoulders, soften your hands.
- Slow stretching or walking helps release built‑up tension.
- Reduce sensory load: dimmer light, quieter spaces, or fewer screens can help your system settle.
- Grounding through your senses: noticing what you can see, hear, or feel brings your body back to the present.

Why this helps:
When your nervous system feels calmer, your muscles don’t have to work as hard to protect you which means less tightness, and more ease in how you move.
