That she hadn’t felt that safe, held and relaxed in years.

YEARS.

It is my absolute honour to be in this work and when women walk through my doors and tell me that they immediately feel their nervous system settle, it brings me such fulfilment.

As mums we are the heartbeat of the home and if we are out of rhythm or in a funk - it truely does affect the whole family.

We shouldn’t need to wait YEARS to feel this kind of care. It’s not natural, yet it’s real.

We live in a world that is far too fast for our nervous system and spirit to keep up. And as a result, our bodies and our heads do all the work.

Leaving us depleted, overwhelmed and full of tension.

It’s no wonder we are stressed.

Thats where support is paramount.

If you have a well oiled village, or a support network ready - sink into them. Ask for help, share the load - no matter how imperfect of glitchy it is. At the end of the day, people are people and we need each other.

If you are lonely, and have no support around you…. Make time for self paced support. Whether it’s reaching out for healing with a professional or carve out time for yourself.

Do the things that light you up. The things that make you feel like you. Let the land hold you. Be in nature, go for that swim. Let emotions move through you with motion.

Not only isn’t it helping you - but it’s paving the way ahead for your kids.

Because you mumma are not just worthy, you are vital to your ecosystem.

A Mother Heart Collection of abstract paintings inspired by the native Australian Kangaroo Paw — a flower both resilient and delicate, wild yet deeply familiar.

Through layered colour, movement, and organic form these works explore the many expressions of maternal love: nurturing, resilience, enduring, and quietly transformative.

Using the shadow of a plant from my own garden, I traced the outline of the blooms with charcoal- a real life connection to the shadow work that forms us as mothers. A reminder that even when we can’t see the end or predict the outcome; when we work on ourselves first, the rest figures itself out and flows organically.

By adding colour and texture to the motherly form of the flower, I hope to reflect the unique relationship between the mother and her children - imperfect, evolving, and profoundly personal.

I invite you to bring your own stories and emotions to these pieces — whether celebrating your own story, your mother, grieving one, becoming one, or simply honouring the people who have loved us in maternal ways.

May the unseen gestures, inherited strength, intuitive tenderness, sacrifice, and connection that shapes us across generations be felt in your home.

Each piece $111 and can be picked up today or tomorrow for Mother’s Day.

I very rarely get a massage.

It’s not one of those “chefs don’t cook at home” things.

- believe me, I know the importance of looking after myself. And when I need it, I get one!

I am very proud to say that I practice what I preach.

There’s two main reasons I don’t get regular massage though.

1. When I feel depleted- I reach for Reiki.

It helps to restore my energy and vitality in a way that allows me to feel grounded and renewed.

It helps to clear my mind and bring peace to my heart -

which ultimately helps to release the tension that’s being physically held in my body.

Three ticks from me.

Mind✔️ Body ✔️ Soul ✔️

I find Reiki (when I’m with a well aligned practitioner) gives me much more bang for my buck.

And 2. I’m ridiculously particular. When you’ve been Massaging for 20 years - you’re bound to have high expectations.

And because of the holistic nature of my work, I know the importance of a well rounded massage. It’s in the detail, the intention, the diligence, skill and genuine care.

This is the reason I do what I do. Because as a mum who rarely has time to do these things - when you finally do - you want it to be good!

The best massages are where all parts of you feel deeply considered and you feel as though you are the most important person in the room.

And even simply reflecting on this makes me excited to get back to work.

I’ve been away for a week in Perth with my sis in law and it was delightfully luscious. We indulged on good food, quiet time and clearly some TLC.

A reminder that while self care isn’t always bubble baths and massages - when it’s done well - it’s invaluable.

Whats the best bit of the massage for you? I’ll share mine in the comments. ⤵️

I get asked this a lot.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing tool.
It tenders to all parts of our being.

Mind, body, soul.

It’s gentle. It’s intuitive.

Yet profound and undeniable in its effects.

To say the least - it’s completely eye opening.

I always say when you feel like you’re in a funk and you don’t know what you need or how to get out of it -

Reiki is incredible for helping you shift the ick to move through it so you can have clarity and see what you need next.

Any other questions??

Please ask away 🥰

Self care is fluffy - it’s a vessel for connection.

Doing the things that make you feel more like YOU.

For some it’s simply being in nature, having a dip in ocean or walking in the bush.

For others it’s music, tapping into songs or instruments that bring out the deepest of memories.

For me, it’s art. It’s creating. I do this in many ways, the flavour changes often.

This week it’s wildflowers. I don’t know what these pieces want to say yet, but Kangaroo paw was calling and it’s a very special flower my heart.

The last plant my step dad bought before he past over. When I’m with this flower, I feel him around.

I feel warm, safe, protected and adored.

And so in my radical (yet simple) act of self care, making magic amidst the messy - I have in fact called in a deeper kind of love - from the other side.

And this my friends is how we use self care to restore our energy and recharge our spirits.

Go forth and care for thy self.

If you need me today - I’ll be in the sunshine, painting and swaying to some music 🥰
