✨ PEG Weekly Highlights! 🎉

Another week full of fun, friendship, and adventure! 💙
🎳 Our PEG participants had an amazing time at Kingpin Bowling—there were plenty of STRIKES and lots of laughter! 😄🎯

🌿 We also explored Charles Darwin National Park, enjoying a beautiful walk in the dry season weather while spotting jets and planes flying overhead. ✈️🌞

🛒 To top it all off, some of us went shopping to gather fresh ingredients for this week's cooking activity! 👨‍🍳🥕🍅

🌿✈️🎨 Adventure, creativity, and unforgettable memories!

What an amazing time we've been having at PEG Fun Club as we explore the best of Darwin during the dry season! ☀️

Our participants rolled up their sleeves for a fun DIY craft project at Bunnings, discovered the incredible wildlife at Fogg Dam, stepped back in time at the Aviation Museum, relaxed at the beautiful Howard Springs, and got creative with exciting in-house craft activities.

Every outing and activity is more than just fun—it's an opportunity to build life skills, develop confidence, and create lasting memories.

Here's to exploring, learning, laughing, and making every moment count. We can't wait to see where our next adventure takes us! 💙

🌿✨ A few weeks ago, we shared our gardening activities, including our visit to Bunnings to pick up everything we needed for our garden. Today, we're excited to show you the amazing results!

Our garden has now started flourishing, with beautiful flowers blooming and our tomato plants are also flowering. 🍅🌸🌱 It's wonderful to see how much progress we've made, thanks to the enthusiasm and hard work of our participants.

We're so proud of what we've achieved together, and we can't wait to share more updates with you.

🌟 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 🌟

Smiles, laughter, sunshine, and unforgettable memories—our participants truly made the most of the day! 💙

From exploring the museum to celebrating 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿, 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 🎂, every moment was filled with joy and excitement. The fun continued at the vibrant Palmerston Youth Festival, followed by plenty of laughter at the water park, a friendly game of cricket, time to relax by the cool bridge, and enjoying the beautiful sunshine together. ☀️💦🏏

These moments are about more than just a great day out. They're about building confidence, strengthening friendships, trying new experiences, and creating memories that everyone will treasure.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. We can't wait for our next adventure together! ❤️

👩‍🍳 A special shout-out to Gabby, our Master Chef of the week, who helped make some delicious sausage rolls! Everyone enjoyed getting involved in the cooking activity.

🌟 Last Week’s Highlights 🌟

Although a few of our planned activities had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we still had a fantastic week filled with fun and memorable experiences!

🎳 Unfortunately, our Kingpin Bowling trip was cancelled, but we made the most of it by enjoying a great movie outing with the seniors instead.

🐟 Our planned fish feeding activity could not go ahead due to the lack of a suitable tide.

👨‍🍳 We had lots of fun making delicious sausage rolls together, with everyone getting involved.

🎣 We also went fishing and even caught a small fish! After admiring our catch, we safely released it back into the water as it wasn't large enough to feed everyone.

✨ While things didn't go exactly as planned, the week was full of laughter, teamwork, and enjoyable experiences. Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the most of every opportunity! 💙
