Dana has quietly helped shape our organisation over time.
This week we're celebrating a very special milestone, Dana's 10-year anniversary with All About Caring.

For the past 10 years, Dana has been a constant part of AAC. Through growth, change, challenges and successes, she has shown up every day with kindness, dedication and a genuine commitment to the people we support.

A decade brings thousands of moments, big and small, and Dana has been there through them all. Her contribution, leadership and care for others have helped shape AAC into the organisation it is today.

Dana, thank you for everything you have contributed over the past decade. We wouldn't be where we are today without you.

Not every message is spoken.

Cate lives with early onset dementia and the long-term effects of a childhood brain tumour, which resulted in an acquired brain injury.

For Cate, everyday personal care like showering, washing her hair and having her nails cared for had become distressing. Rather than seeing only resistance or frustration, we took the time to look deeper. By learning Cate’s individual cues and working alongside clinical professionals, we discovered something she had struggled to communicate: she was living with significant, unmanaged pain.

With consistent support, familiar routines and a calm home environment, things began to change. Cate became more settled and comfortable, with fewer moments of distress and greater trust around personal care.

Cate’s story is an important reminder for us that behaviour can be communication. Sometimes, understanding what someone needs starts with noticing what they may be trying to tell us.

All About Caring is looking for an experienced National Client Services Manager to join our team.

This is a key leadership role overseeing our national client services and rostering operations across Community and SIL services. You’ll lead and develop operational teams, strengthen service coordination and continuity of care, oversee client onboarding, and help ensure our services remain safe, compliant and responsive to the people we support.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently navigate the complexities of 24/7 disability service delivery, bringing together strong leadership, operational oversight, risk management and a genuine focus on quality client outcomes.

📍 Parramatta, NSW
🏢 Full time Hybrid: 3 days in our Parramatta office + 2 days WFH
💰 $110,000–$120,000 per annum | $52–$58 per hour

Ideally, you’ll bring years’ experience in disability or community care, along with strong experience leading Community and/or SIL service delivery and a solid understanding of the NDIS environment.

A simple conversation can change a life.

Today is a reminder to check in with the people around us, whether it's a family member, friend, colleague, carer, support worker, participant, or neighbour.

Sometimes, asking "Are you OK?" can open the door to connection, support, and understanding.

If someone shares that they're struggling, take the time to listen without judgment and let them know they don't have to face things alone.

It's easy to think independence has to be something big.
Often, it's much smaller than that.

It might be deciding what's for dinner, planning the week's appointments or choosing how to spend a Saturday morning.

Having support doesn't mean someone else makes those decisions.

Good support creates space for people to make their own choices, at their own pace.

Those everyday moments are where confidence grows. 💚
