What if your Wednesday morning looked a little like this?

A morning outdoors, little ones exploring messy play, water and nature, and a chance for you to have a cuppa and chat with other mums.

That's what we're creating at the Village Playgroup.
Our next 8-week term is coming up, and I'd love to welcome some new families into our little village.

Would you love to join us? Link in the comments

For a long time, I thought I was trying to understand friendship.

Looking back, I was learning to understand something much bigger.

Not just who my friends were…

But the people, places and opportunities that help us feel supported, connected and like we don’t have to do life alone.

That’s where the idea for The Modern Village began.

Not as a business.

But as a question I couldn’t stop asking.

💛 If this story resonated with you, I’d love to invite you to start with my free Friendship Check-In. It’s a gentle place to reflect on your friendship needs in this season of life. You’ll find it in my bio.

Lately I’ve been realising…

It’s not that something is “wrong” with my friendships.
It’s that I’ve changed.

And what I need now looks different.

This is what helped me put words to it.

You don’t need every type of friendship.
But you do deserve the ones that match who you are now.

If this hits, tell me… what are you craving more of right now?

If you’re someone who likes to know what the day holds…

we’ll move through a mix of grounding, connection, play and rest without it ever feeling rigid or forced.

CASE FILES RELEASED.

After extensive investigation, we’ve identified the individuals responsible for creating Heart of Play.

Each of these women brings something different into the room; movement, conversation, curiosity, and play.

But the real magic has been watching the friendships grow while building this together.

If you’ve been following the investigation…
you’re now seeing the suspects.

We’ve been doing some investigating.

Looking for a particular kind of woman.

The one who:

• is usually the responsible one
• loves deep conversations
• misses playful friendships
• secretly wants a day that feels different

If you recognise this woman…

She might need a day like Heart of Play.

Sometimes the clue is small.

Like realising you can’t remember the last time you laughed properly.

Not a polite laugh.
A belly laugh.

That’s the energy we’ve been building with Heart of Play — a day of movement, connection, and playful chaos with women who are also ready for something different.

If the girl who could make a game out of anything is still in there…

You’re invited.
