Ocean Heroes is heading back to Geraldton on June 21st and we’re on the lookout for more local legends to help us bring bigger free surfing events to the local community 🤙🏽

If you’ve ever wanted to get involved, meet some incredible people, and help the neurodivergent community, this is your sign!

Whether you’re keen to help in the water, on the beach, or just bring good vibes and a helping hand, there’s a role for everyone! 🏄‍♂️☀️

That was one of our greatest East Coast events to date!

Our prayers to the wave & weather gods were answered in a big way and you all came out to play for a day that will go down in OH lore! ☀️ 🌊

✨ Our NSW Volley of the Month goes out to the one and only Jos Ellison. 👏

Jos is the BFG of our Bondi events. He brings an incredible energy, presence and warmth to every interaction with fellow volleys and participants alike.

It’s not easy for a man this tall to get down on eye level with a three-year-old, but by gosh does he go the extra mile to provide reassurance and encouragement, making everyone feel welcome!

No matter if it’s on the AFL field, in the water or on a dance floor, Jos goes full flair. 🕺

Since joining the Ocean Heroes crew, Eleanor has become an absolute superstar volunteer. Whether it’s an early start, a long road trip, or a regional adventure, she is always ready to jump in and help create amazing experiences for our families.

From travelling all the way from Albany to Exmouth, and attending plenty of Perth events in between, Eleanor’s dedication to our community is nothing short of inspiring. 🚗🌊

Volunteers like Eleanor are the reason Ocean Heroes can continue bringing smiles, confidence and unforgettable moments to neurodivergent young people across WA.
