Stop scrolling if you think breastfeeding has to hurt. 🛑
Let’s bust a major myth today: Breastfeeding shouldn’t hurt.

While a bit of initial tenderness can happen, ongoing or sharp pain is a sign that something simply needs adjusting.

You never have to suffer in silence or figure it out all by yourself.

Help is available—reaching out to a lactation consultant can give you the expert, caring support you deserve.

💬 Drop a comment below: What is one breastfeeding question you wish you had the answer to? Let’s talk about it and support each other!

When birth happens earlier than expected, the experience can feel overwhelming, unfamiliar and completely different from what you had imagined.

While your baby receives specialised neonatal care, you deserve someone there to support you — someone who already knows your pregnancy, your preferences and your story. 🤍

Continuity of private midwifery care can provide emotional, practical and postnatal support throughout this unexpected journey.

I’ve written a new blog exploring how private midwifery care can support families through premature birth.

🤍 Did you know? S*x during pregnancy is generally safe.

Pregnancy can come with a LOT of questions—and intimacy is one of them. It’s completely normal to wonder, “Is this safe for my baby?”

For most uncomplicated pregnancies, s*x won’t harm your baby. Your baby is well protected inside the uterus. 🤍

However, there are some situations where your midwife or maternity provider may recommend avoiding s*x, such as certain placenta problems or a risk of preterm labour.

✨ The most important thing? You don’t have to feel embarrassed about asking. Your questions deserve a safe, judgment-free conversation.

💬 Have you ever wondered what is safe during pregnancy? Save this post and share it with a pregnant friend who might need the reassurance.

Individual circumstances can vary, so speak with your midwife or maternity provider if you have concerns.

💻 A mum’s brain? Basically 1,257 browser tabs… ALL. THE. TIME. 😂

One tab for the baby.
One for appointments.
One for work.
One for dinner.
One reminding you to do the laundry…
And about 1,250 more you’ve completely forgotten about. 😅

Motherhood can mean carrying so much in your head every single day — even when nobody else can see it.

So, to every mum doing her best: we see you. You’re doing amazing. 🤍

Tag a mum who deserves a laugh… and maybe a very long nap! 💤
