Feeling burnt out, depleted or like you’re constantly running on empty? Your body might be asking for more support. 🤍

When I’m supporting clients experiencing burnout, I like to look beyond simply telling them to “rest more.” Nutrition, hydration, exercise load, sleep quality and targeted herbal support can all play a role in supporting the body during periods of prolonged stress.

Swipe through for 5 things I recommend considering if you’re feeling burnt out.

And if you feel like you’ve been doing all the “right things” but still don’t feel like yourself, we can dig deeper into what may be driving your symptoms and create a plan specific to you. Book an initial consultation with me via the link in our bio.

Cortisol often gets a bad reputation, particularly when it comes to stubborn belly fat and weight gain. But is cortisol actually the problem?

In today’s PH Couch Series, Peta and Rachel break down some of the biggest questions we hear in clinic.

The reality? Cortisol is an essential hormone, and the relationship between stress, hormones and weight is far more complex than social media makes it seem.

Ahead of World Mental Health Day tomorrow, a little reminder from us đź’š
Your mental health is part of your whole health.

Nutrition, movement, sleep and looking after your physical health can all play a supportive role, but sometimes looking after yourself also means slowing down, setting boundaries, talking to someone and asking for help when you need it.

And maybe today is your reminder to check in with someone you love, too.
“How are you, really?”

Regular cycles don’t always mean you’re ovulating.

In this episode of our OH Couch Series, Kirsty & Nicole are talking all things ovulation - because having a period every month doesn’t necessarily tell us the whole story.

If you’re trying to conceive, navigating your hormones, or simply want to understand what’s happening in your body, this one is for you.

🎥 Watch the full reel and save this for your next cycle check-in. Or book a complimentary Discovery Call or a 90-min Initial Consultation with one of our practitioners today via the link in our bio.

On the PH Couch today, Kirsty & Nicole break down how elevated cortisol can impact ovulation, cycle regularity and your hormones, and the signs your body might be giving you.

Irregular cycles aren’t always just a hormone problem.

When this client came to us, she hadn’t had a period in over 6 months and was experiencing acne, unwanted hair growth, anxiety and high stress.

Testing helped us identify some of the key drivers behind her PCOS, including insulin resistance, elevated androgens and nutrient insufficiencies.

A few months later, her fasting insulin had reduced from 14 → 6, her vitamin D and androgen levels had significantly improved and, most excitingly, her period returned! 🤎 We’re still working towards consistent ovulation and regular cycles, but this is an incredible step forward.

If you’re struggling with PCOS or irregular cycles, it’s time to look beyond the symptoms. Book an initial consultation with our team via the link in our bio and let’s uncover what may be driving yours.

If bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, reflux or food reactions have become your “normal”, or you’ve been told you have IBS and the only advice you’ve received is to follow a low FODMAP diet - our Gut Reset Wellness Plan is designed to help you look deeper

At Pure Health, we don’t want you restricting more and more foods without understanding why your gut is reacting in the first place.

Our approach is simple: we test, not guess.

Depending on your symptoms and history, your practitioner may recommend blood pathology, comprehensive stool testing and/or breath testing to investigate factors such as digestive function, your gut microbiome, nutrient status and potential microbial imbalances.

From there, we build a personalised nutrition and naturopathic plan around you, with regular consultations and check-ins to guide you through each stage.

The goal? To improve your symptoms, expand your diet wherever possible and give you the tools to support your gut health long term - without unnecessary restriction or feeling like you have to eat “perfectly” forever.

Ready to actually understand what’s going on with your gut? Book your 90-minute Initial Consultation in-clinic or online via our website, or send us a DM and our team can help you get started.

Preconception care isn’t just for women 👏🏼

S***m take roughly 3 months to develop and mature, which means what men are doing in the lead-up to conception matters too.

Nutrition, alcohol, smoking, sleep, exercise, heat exposure and overall health can all play a role in supporting healthy s***m production.

If you’re thinking about trying for a baby, ideally both partners should start preparing at least 3 months before conception. 🤍
