✨🃏 QUIET READINGS WITH KYMBERLY 🃏✨
🌙 Sometimes, inspiration finds us in the most unexpected places… 🌙
I'm currently overseas visiting family, and earlier today I was playing a game of cards — Gin Rummy, to be exact! 😂🃏
But something had sparked an idea in my mind earlier that morning.
I had spoken to my aunty, who told me she'd missed my card readings. ❤️ That really touched my heart, and later, while playing cards, a little thought popped into my head…
✨ Why not try a reading using an ordinary deck of playing cards?
Did you know that reading ordinary playing cards for guidance is an old practice known as cartomancy?
Long before the beautiful tarot and oracle decks we know today, people used playing cards to explore symbolism, life's questions and personal reflection.
So, I decided to give it a go!
🔮 MY VERY FIRST PLAYING-CARD READING 🔮
I shuffled an ordinary deck of playing cards and pulled three cards. Here's what they symbolise and the message we can take from them.
❤️ FIRST CARD — KING OF HEARTS
The King of Hearts represents love, compassion, kindness and emotional wisdom.
This card reminds us of the importance of the people who hold a special place in our hearts, and how much a little kindness and understanding can mean to someone.
♣️ SECOND CARD — JACK OF CLUBS
The Jack of Clubs represents fresh ideas, curiosity, inspiration and the courage to try something new.
Sometimes, our best ideas arrive when we're not even looking for them. A conversation, a memory or an ordinary moment can spark something beautiful within us.
♠️ THIRD CARD — TWO OF SPADES
The Two of Spades invites us to reflect on balance, choices and uncertainty.
If you've been feeling torn between two things or unsure of your next step, perhaps this is your reminder to slow down, listen to yourself and give yourself time. You don't have to figure everything out today.
✨ THE COLLECTIVE MESSAGE ✨
Lead with your heart. Stay open to new ideas, even when they arrive unexpectedly, and allow yourself the space to find balance when life feels uncertain.
Sometimes, we're reminded of what matters most through the simplest things, a conversation with someone we love, a familiar deck of cards or a thought that quietly finds its way into our minds.
And perhaps that's the beauty of this little experiment. Something as ordinary as a game of Gin Rummy has inspired me to explore a new way of sharing readings with you all. ❤️
