Cyrenian House is proud and excited to have celebrated a special milestone this year - 45 years of delivering alcohol and other drug services in the WA community.
To celebrate staff gathered for a BBQ, a few rounds of lawn bowls, and shared stories from the last 45 years. This was a chance for everyone to reflect on our achievements as an organisation, the contributions of so many people over our history, and our commitment into the future.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in the journey so far and to everyone who will be over the next 45 years.

Cyrenian House is proud to be supporting Richmind WA's upcoming Mental Health Month Breakfast: Mental Health & Autism in Focus.

Only 3 weeks to go!

Autistic people experiencing mental ill health are often caught between services built for one or the other. Mental health supports can miss the autism context, while autism supports can miss the distress someone is experiencing.

That gap matters, and the sector is only starting to name it clearly.

This Mental Health Month, Richmind WA is bringing people together to examine this real and growing gap in support and extend the conversation. Over one morning, representatives from Curtin University, Autism WA and Cyrenian House, alongside a person with lived experience, will explore an area of growing need and share perspectives on what this gap feels like from the inside.

The breakfast sits within a wider Mental Health Month program from Richmind WA, including our HeART & Soul exhibition and talks by internationally recognised eating disorder expert Professor Walter Kaye MD.
Whether this is your field, part of your work, or simply something you want to understand more deeply, you are welcome at the table.

Register now to join the conversation and help shape a more connected approach to supporting mental health and autism https://bit.ly/4iPugN4
