The second new moon after the winter solstice determines the date of Chinese New Year. In the southern hemisphere that was yesterday. As the traditional Chinese calendar describes changes according to the sun and the moon it could be that we antipodeans are already experiencing the Yin Fire Goat year.
There's a calmer energy of connection and creativity, walking, exhaling, consolidating, healing, building relationships, and making considered decisions over time.
Yin Fire is a slow burn: candles, incense, moxa, the hearth.
That suits me fine.
