June is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month 🩵
Bowel cancer can sometimes develop without obvious symptoms, which is why it’s important to be aware of any ongoing changes in your body.
Speak with your GP if you experience:
• Blood in your stool
• Changes in bowel habits
• Ongoing abdominal pain
• Unexplained weight loss
• Persistent tiredness or iron deficiency
• A feeling of incomplete bowel emptying
Many of these symptoms can be caused by conditions other than bowel cancer, but it’s important to have them assessed.
