It’s been a wonderful start to the for and ….

Leesa’s healing garden has won “Runner Up” Best Show Garden for 2023!!

Thank you to all the Lionheart volunteers who helped to create this beautiful space and bring Leesa’s concept to life and to the generous supporters who have donated or loaned all the elements to create this garden - and Eclipse Soils.

Come see us at site 103 over the next three days and experience the peace, calm and tranquility of this award winning garden.

Day 3 Progress!
Plants laid out ready to be ‘planted’ tomorrow with a few more to be added (can never have too many plants!) Some screens to go in tomorrow too, and amazing art work and water feature by

We added mulch and plants to the mix on Day 2 of the healing garden build and it's really taking shape now!

Lionheart volunteers, Nathan (mostly!) and Charlie, managed to shift almost 10 cubic metres of mulch that was kindly donated and delivered by Eclipse Soils. While Leesa Hart quietly and creatively contemplated the placement of all the gorgeous plants and trees from Benara Nursery.

With only two days left before the gates open for the Perth Garden Festival, make sure you buy your tickets online and come see this special space for yourself.

Day 2 Progress
10 cubic metres of mulch (from Eclipse Soils) wheelbarrowed and bucketed into the garden by Nathan and Charlie. It was a huge job but they knocked it out in a few hours 👏
I started placing the plants and trees from .
Plants will go in tomorrow and finishing touches on Wednesday ahead of the opening of the Perth Garden and Outdoor Festival on Thursday May 11. Come and see the completed garden at Site 103. Look forward to seeing you there!

Day 1 of the Leesa Hart Healing Garden build is complete thanks to our hard-working and speedy volunteers who braved the rain and wind!

Adam and Jake from Greater Scapes WA made quick work of the outer frame, matting and metal edging which was kindly donated by FormBoss WA - Green Earth Enterprises. Lionheart volunteers Joe, Jodie, Justin, Charlie and Stephen welcomed a generous delivery from Creation Landscape Supplies, spending the rest of the morning shovelling and wheelbarrowing sandstone fines and river stones.

The team will rest up tomorrow but stay tuned for a Day 2 garden update on Monday!

Day 1 of construction of ‘Wonderland’ for the Perth Garden Festival. Thanks to and volunteers from for all your hard work in the freezing cold and rain! 🥶 Also thanks to and for your products! It’s taken shape quicker than expected and is looking so good. The labyrinth is fun to walk too. Come to Langley Park in Perth from Thursday 11th May to Sunday 14th May and walk the labyrinth for yourself. See you there!
