🩷💙
Some losses do not arrive loudly.
They come quietly,
like a small paper boat
drifting away on still water 🤍
I lost you.
And there is no gentle way to say that.
No sentence that makes it hurt less.
No explanation that makes it fair 🌫
There are days when the absence feels heavier
than any word I could ever carry.
Days when the silence remembers you
even when the world keeps moving on 🍂
But here is the truth my heart returns to,
again and again:
I got to love you.
I got to be loved by you 🤍
And that matters.
More than the ache.
More than the emptiness you left behind.
More than the tears I never let anyone see ✨
Not everyone gets a love like that.
Not everyone gets a bond that lingers
long after goodbye.
Not everyone is changed
by someone so deeply
that even grief feels meaningful 🌾
Losing you broke something in me,
but loving you built something too.
Something permanent.
Something time cannot undo 🌱
Even now, you live in the smallest moments.
In quiet evenings.
In memories that arrive without warning.
In the way my heart softens
when I think of you 🤍
I don’t cry for you loudly.
I don’t announce my sorrow.
Most of my tears are silent,
shared only with the stillness 🌊
But they are filled with gratitude.
Because I would rather carry this pain
than never have known your love.
I would rather miss you
than forget you 🍃
Grief is the price of love,
and somehow, I am willing to pay it.
Over and over again.
Because even in my sadness,
even in my longing,
even in the quiet ache that never fully fades,
I know this truth:
Losing you was unbearable.
But loving you
was one of the greatest gifts of my life 🤍✨
