Happy Sunday Everyone!

A post for you all a day earlier than usual as we have an absolutely massive week of energy ahead with a New Moon in Leo this Wednesday August 13th at 1:36am Perth time…. Which will be a Solar Eclipse for many across the Northern Hemisphere…together with the full opening of the Lion’s gate Portal today, August 8th…

The lead up to this time of year can usually prove, energy wise, to be very difficult for a great many people. This time of year, as always, is of course, huge....with some people experiencing outright misery or emotional instability, lowered immune systems, nightmares and crazy dreams, lack of energy, dizziness, ringing in the ears and even the sudden death of household appliances, and yes, a feeling of loss as many more of those we love seem to grow their wings and ride the portal ...all are symptoms people have been experiencing in the past week or two (happens increasingly every year around this time I might add!) …with the weather absolutely vile here today, it’s definitely a weekend to really focus on taking care of ourselves and focusing on those we hold dear.

The Lion's Gate Portal is a gate way back to Sirius, whereby our Sun is in line directly with the Sirian Central Sun…and to where our closest human relatives are located in this universe…our Family. Connect to Source and we connect to them right now, so it's important if you are attempting to connect with this energy, to do so as safely as possible. Deception is at its finest always at this time and there are always forces at play wishing to hijack and corrupt this beautiful experience…although the balance definitely continues to shift and this energy is certainly weaker than it has been in times past!

Sure, there is a lot of 'codswallop' flying around about now being the time to accept your 'DNA upgrades and downloads', there always is at this time... but are we really so terribly deficient??? The answer is no! If we are sensitive to the energy at the moment, then we should look at doing things that help us to relax, do things that ground our energy and that make us feel joyful. Peace is what's needed over the next few days! We must NOT accept that feeling awful is normal for no good reason, it isn't and messages we receive during these times are highly suspect in that state...so, when in doubt, connect to Source. Connecting to Source allows us to ground our energy and filter out the rubbish trying to trick us into letting itself attach to us, which in turn can mess with our minds, our bodies and our energy.

New Moons are a great opportunity for new beginnings, starting as we mean to go on, in peace, joy and abundance…and this new moon is already proving to be powerful. To should start as we mean to go on we begin by releasing all that has previously prevented us from our connection to Source…moving forward In love, in light and fully in our truth! Happy Sunday Everyone!

Well, how are we all faring after that intense full moon in Aquarius? It was an intense week to be sure, culminating yesterday with the beginning of Lammas, the ancient first harvest festival (in the northern hemisphere of course), where loaves of bread are baked with the first harvest grains, then taken to church to be blessed. Lughnasadh is also celebrated, a Celtic festival celebrating the mid point between the Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox, honouring Lugh… Christians honour God to thank him for the bounty of the first fruits of the harvest and Shabbat/Shavuos is always a time to be grateful for all our blessings and enjoy Challah! It’s what we do with energy we are handed that makes the difference between a ‘feast or a famine’ ….

Gratitude, counting our blessings, seeing the abundance of joy we are blessed with, is always a practice that takes some practicing … especially when life gets in the way of living. I dedicate my post this week to one of my oldest and dearest friends, who suddenly lost her soul mate this week after nearly three decades of marriage.

It’s often all too easy to focus on the negative all around us, sorrow, tragedy and loss can be found without trying very hard to look, granted….focusing on the positive can be difficult, especially when we love and care for the those around us …and if we are empathic or in the business of helping others. It is imperative however, that we do indeed focus on what is good and loving in our lives, so that despite the hardships, we always have something to look forward to…no matter how close we are to, or how much we might love and care for those people, having those energetic and emotional boundaries helps to keep us focused and aligned with our higher purpose, prevents our energies from being overly drained or depleted…and allows us to open new doors and gently close old ones when necessary or appropriate.

A great crystal for helping us to ‘keep our peace’ while assisting in times of trial or need is Danburite. Known as the crystal of Divine Reflection, Danburite is perfect for our weekly guidance this week as it helps us to bring our focus back to within, filtering out energy that may not align with our true balance, joy and purpose. The calming energy of Danburite aligns the heart and crown chakras together, helping us to work through and rise above any trying situations we may find ourselves experiencing. This allows us to reflect on any lessons we may have in those situations, allowing for positive learning and growth to occur…. We should always leave people better than we found them, where it is of course possible to do so.

Danburite is a crystal of Acceptance, offering a deep sense of relief in knowing that all is always as it should be, hard as they may be sometimes. This makes it easier to focus on the the light and love we experience in this world and for ourselves to be vehicles, capable of bringing in more of the same. As a crystal of Connection, when our Crown and Heart Chakras are aligned, Divine synchronicity occurs allowing us to connect to All, revealing our true purpose.

Bringing the energy for all who wish to receive it this week, of a beautiful piece of Danburite I have had for many years. In an ‘Awen’ inspired grid created previously, (Celtic symbol of flowing creative, life energy), …may our connections be pure, peaceful, productive and abundant! After all, life only ever gives us raw materials… grief is a sign of a life well made…and well loved. All will be well.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

As promised, an extra bit of guidance for you all this week with a Full Moon in Aquarius, peaking at 10:35pm this evening , July 29th Perth time,

If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, you will be experiencing a Buck/Thunder Moon, while in the Southern Hemisphere we will be having our Wolf/Ice Moon as we enjoy some sunny Winter weather here this week. If you are working with the energy of this full moon and are humbly decisive in your energy moving then by all means charge your crystals this evening… if in doubt however, it’s best to give it a miss this month!

While a Full Moon in Aquarius will always involve a little extra emotion… this one is a doozy with us being asked to choose wisely on the path ahead!

Sun conjunct Jupiter is normally auspicious but opposite the Moon?…this can lead people to be arrogant, lazy, over confident etc… just the usual behavioural missteps that don’t really lead to great outcomes!

Moon opposite Jupiter can influence people to exhibit a lack of control, be less guarded, over emotional and indecisive. Moon conjunct Pluto… well, one might observe others to appear again overly imbued with emotion, a little too intense (I’m being generous!), aggressive and altogether behaving in an unpleasant manner!

Sun opposite Pluto may see some exert their power over others in a way unbecoming, remember to always be humble and open to other peoples feelings and points of view.

Uranus trine Pluto can bring about welcome changes in all aspects of our lives and future aspirations, but is cautioned by Neptune in retrograde, as it can lead to fearful, apprehensive and indecisive energy.

The verdict? This moon will be intense and staying calm, not rising to the provocation directed your way and grounding ourselves will be needed over the coming weeks. Keep healthy boundaries, do the things that nourish your soul, surround yourself with like minded people and find your joy to ride it out! Crystals always help;)

As usual, a full moon is always a great opportunity for the cleansing and release of energy that no longer serves us, so here is my usual ‘how to’ on clearing your energy chords and smudging your home or business spaces...the preceding and proceeding 8 hrs either side of the full moon are a great time for doing this cleansing and release work with Selenite! If you have a Selenite rod and wish to release energy that no longer serves you,

Sweeping your entire body with Selenite, make the following affirmation...

‘I now release all energy, chords, attachments and soul contracts that no longer serve my highest good, and I return them back to Source with love, light and healing. In love, faith and gratitude, I welcome abundance, Amen. (Amen is not a religious word, it stems from the Hebrew ‘to have faith’, meaning what you’ve asked for is done!)’

If wanting to smudge your home or business to release energy from your space that does not serve your highest good, (and white sage, ethically sourced from First Nation People in California is ALWAYS best for this no matter what people say about it in order to ‘flog’ you what they’re trying to sell) ask that ‘all energy that does not serve your highest good be returned to Source with love, light and healing’...as you move around your home or workspace with your lit white sage smudge stick, making sure the smudge reaches all corners, nooks and crannies! ...don’t forget to make sure your windows are open first and you will want to burn some lavender or diffuse some lavender oil in order to welcome back in the good energy when you’ve finished!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

It’s been an intense week for me back at work, yet doing what I love always brings me a sense of grounding and joy, if not a little exhausted by the end of it!

As I promised, I’m continuing this week’s guidance on the theme of Stone Circles, their connectedness and the mystical and powerful energetic experiences they have the ability to offer.

With an intense full moon in Aquarius occurring this week, (I’ll post extra guidance for you all on Wednesday regarding this!), a sense of grounding will be a necessity!

While on my recent trip back home to the English West Country, some dear friends and I took the road less travelled and headed further south to Devon. There is some debate over just how many stone circles are actually in Devon, but there are close to twenty, with a vast majority of them being in Dartmoor itself. Finding a stone circle that is a little off the beaten track and not as well known can be a fabulous experience, as the energy is still powerful and not depleted by thousands and thousands of visitors throughout the year!

They are not behemoths like Avebury or Stonehenge, but they are powerful nonetheless and offer a connection in time to those who came before us, along with the wisdom they’ve collected through the ages.

The stone that makes up the majority of Dartmoor’s stone circles is referred to as Dartmoor Stone, or Dartmoor Granite… not an auspicious name considering the igneous granite is made up of a variety of minerals including white orthoclase, feldspar, quartz, biotite mica, tourmaline, and boron… some have even been found to contain lithium, fluorine, fluorite, phosphorus and beryllium! Other specimens have also been found to contain topaz, elbaite, petalite, huelandite, stilbite, datolite, spodumene along with a whole other range of crystals and minerals, as a result of ancient volcanic activity!

Some of these stones, those containing high amounts of feldspar, can appear with white patches of kaolinite, due to the weathering of the aluminium silicate contained in feldspar…this gives them a beautiful, mystical appearance and a soft, peaceful, calming and welcoming energy.

All in all, a rather ‘boring’ looking piece of ‘rock’, (as some would say, but of course not me!), actually contains a myriad of energetic properties that activate in tune to what we may specifically need energetically at the time, helping us to sit, connect, remember and receive the guidance and wisdom of the ages, needed to navigate our own often turbulent and uncertain times… the continuity, the endurance, the stoic yet powerful nature of ancient Dartmoor Stone, helps us to understand that when we go within, we gain the ability to ‘receive’ what we need, from the wider plethora of all that is, was and ever will be… we are One…the secret of the monad in its simplest form!

Just a note! Don’t go picking and hacking at the standing stone circles! You must leave them be….this should go without saying… but as you leave ask for a loose rock to appear before you somewhere on your walk (often the circles take a bit of getting to on foot!)… and the one you need should appear to you. There are also plenty of reputable sources to purchase from, if you feel drawn to requiring your own.

Bringing the energy today for all who wish to receive it, of my own sacred piece of Dartmoor Stone, centred on a bed of mini Clear Quartz tumbles in a stone circle inspired grid today…flanked with both brown and black Avalon Stone, led in by a deep green Nephrite Jade, stone row. Surrounded and encircled by Clear Quartz Points…nothing worth receiving is done so easily… often it takes time, practice, patience, effort and yes, often painful lessons and experiences… we are however, never alone in that journey. All we need do is stop, connect, discern and learn!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

It’s a wet and overcast day here in Perth but we are looking forward to some cool, but characteristically sunny days that we are famous for, over the coming week.

As I reminisce over my recent trip home to the South West of England, one of the most spiritual aspects for me was visiting some of the amazing Stone Circles that the UK has to offer. Most famous of course being Stonehenge, but there are many more lesser known circles that often retain a more mystical and more powerful energetic experience! Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be delving into some of these circles and just what the standing stone compositions are made of!

A common theme with all stone circles is of course grounding and connecting to the Earth and its cycles, the very essence of life itself as a human being in this planet. But the undeniable connection to the sky, celestial objects, the seasons and the stars, allow for a more spiritual and philosophical interpretation, along with a connection to energy that when one is attuned, as we all used to be, is absolutely palpable.

It’s that connection to energy, to something ‘more’, that humans as a whole have come to lack over the eons… that lack of connectedness has often been attributed to addictions of all kinds, in an attempt to fill that void… indeed when these stone circles were created thousands of years ago, it took intent, cooperation, coordination, shared knowledge and a connection to the land… and to each other… in order to come together for the purpose of creation… Standing Stone Circles served many purposes, but they displayed a harmony, a connection to each other, a commonality of humanity that is beautiful in its simple, but powerful energy and wisdom.

Although I did not get to go to Scotland on my most recent trip, I did manage to obtain Lewisian Gneiss, something I have wanted to squire for a very long time but was wary of where the specimens actually come from online… of course I found what I was looking for from The Crystal Man in Glastonbury… just as I needed!

The most outstanding standing stone circle for me yet to visit in Scotland is the Calanais Stones on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides…made famous by the Outlander series, it’s not actually in Inverness as depicted…of course being made entirely of Lewisian Gneiss.

Being one of the oldest stones known to Europe, Lewisian Gneiss is over 3 billion years old. Formed by the literal folding and moulding of granite and other minerals (feldspars, epidotes, quartz), through volcanic and ice age activity… it has stood the test of time, an ever evolving stone of transformation and flexibility, Lewisian Gneiss is a stone of faith and hope for our future!

Like all stones chosen for circles, Lewisian Gneiss helps ground the spiritual into the physical, but unlike most, this ‘crystal’ allows us to understand that our inner workings affect our outer workings… that cause and affect, actions and consequences are ours to command… time bends us, circumstances may mould us, but what we become, what we learn from these uncontrollables, determines what we create in our time here. Will our creations, our energies, stand the test of time?

Bringing you the energies today of Lewisian Gneiss from the Isle of Lewis, in a stone circle formation, together with Avalon Stone, Dartmoor Stone, Preseli Bluestone and Clear Quartz points. Happy Sunday Everyone!

As many of you know, who follow my page, I am recently back from a trip home to Somerset and it therefore would be remiss of me, not to do our weekly guidance this week, with a relatively rare crystal from very near my hometown of Wells, known as Mendip Potato Stone, AKA Dulcote Agate.

It was extremely strange returning home to heatwave weather, while Perth in Western Australia it was cold! Duality is the nature of growth I suppose but my goodness, we had extreme heat and the worst localised storm at the same time in memory while back in Somerset! A shout out of love to the homes and businesses affected by the freak storm in Wells and Glastonbury (the latter of which suffering the worst water damage!), hoping you all are recovering well, if you’re in the area, please support those business wherever you can!

Dulcote Agate/Mendip Potato Stone, (MPS), like all chalcedony agates, helps us to create calm by grounding ourselves, particularly to the area they (or we) may come from. Above and beyond this, MPS is a crystal of purification and when called to use this crystal, it may be time to purify your circle, protect yourself from all that which does not have your highest good at heart...taking time out for reflection, meditation and seclusion and to really get in touch with our own inner guidance. It's time for listening to what it is our hearts really want, a time for creating adequate boundaries and with a New Moon this Tuesday, July 14th at 10:43am Perth time, this is certainly a time for a new start, a reset, a clean slate and good clean out of anything that may be counter productive to the abundance on offer to us all at this time!

Mendip Potato Stone is very close to my heart and holds a very special vibration for me as it is from the Dulcote Hills region of Somerset (where I actually stayed with dear friends) right next to my historic hometown of Wells in England. I just this weekend realised a direct connection, as my great, great Aunt married into the family that came to own the Dulcote Quarry (now closed) that once mined the now rare crystal. Also called Dulcote Agate, this crystal was created during the the Triassic period...Halite and gypsum deposits in the Wessex mudstone were gradually replaced with Micro quartz particles, forming agate like geodes now called Potato Stones. The beautiful red / orange hues of the Agate, are often carved into beautiful creations, however, in Victorian times, the geode forms that contained crystals, were held in high value due to the beautiful yellowish 'Bristol Diamonds' that they often contained that are hidden within!

We all go through periods of light and dark in our lives. It's how we come to understand the concept of duality itself. Mendip Potato Stone helps us to really make sure we have effective boundaries in place for our own self protection. If something or someone isn’t bringing the energy to your life you thought they would, then consider the lessons of this and whether or not this energy is still required…reflect on why this situation is causing distress in the first place. What do we need to learn from this? By really going within and understanding ourselves better, we are protected from these situations ever happening again. Sit with this knowledge, grounding this energy…This brings us clarity and light!

When we truly rise above the duality and ego of this world, we realise that it's a game and a war we simply don't have to be a part of! Source is simply love and when we understand that, like the Potato Stone, we have truly found the diamond (and diamond healing!) within...US! Now, don't go giving that diamond away for anything or anyone!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

As many of you may know, I’ve been overseas the past couple of weeks as I have been planning a retreat there for next year (let me know if you are interested and I’ll keep you posted!)

As I’m only just home, I’m a little exhausted from the long haul flight and not really of a mind set to connect to deliver our guidance… I guess that is guidance in itself, to always listen to what our bodies are telling us and nurture ourselves accordingly! I’ll see you all back here same time next week however, for our weekly crystal guidance… In the meantime, some snaps of the road less travelled… me at a lesser known Henge, hiking on a 37 degrees Celsius day in the UK!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

It’s been very extreme weather here this week as I write our weekly guidance from the beautiful West Country in the UK. We’ve had extreme heat (37 degrees Celsius!) and freak thunder storms (not predicted by the MET office!) with nearly 20,000 lightening strikes in one concentrated area… the one I’m in! Despite this, my time here has been amazing as I reconnect with my hometown, the land here and my friends and family.

We have a Full Moon in Capricorn this Wednesday 30th of June at 7:56am Perth time (29th of June for most counties) so Monday evening is a great night to charge your crystals, if you should feel inclined to do so.

If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, you will be enjoying your Strawberry Moon (and indeed we have been enjoying strawberries from Draycott (near Cheddar) while I’ve been here!), while the Southern Hemisphere will be enjoying their Oak Moon.

This Full Moon is positively aspected with Mars sextile Jupiter… and indeed a more positive, enthusiastic and hopeful atmosphere can be enjoyed over the next few weeks, as we ground and connect with the energy on offer!

Getting out in nature, grounding, connecting and just feeling our own place in the universe, is a great way to energise, motivate and elevate our physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. Some Jaspers and local Agates are always fantastic for grounding, especially when they originate from where we ourselves do…and to that end, I’d like to introduce you to Avalon Stone (although it’s really a concretion, not an Agate or a Jasper!)

Not to be confused with Avalonite, a form of rare Chalcedony, Avalon Stone is found only in Glastonbury, the heart Chakra of the World…consisting of mudstone and limestone layers, laid down approximately 200 million years ago in the last Jurassic period.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

With Winter well and truly upon us in Perth, I’m writing our weekly crystal guidance this week from Stonehenge, where I welcomed the Summer Solstice with dear friends and a few thousand others! Those of you in the Southern Hemisphere are enjoying the Winter Solstice, it’s the Summer Solstice for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere. This time of year, it is important not to dwell on the ‘negatives’.. yes there have been many, tragically many…but if we truly want change, peace, joy and prosperity… we ourselves have to BE those very things. Easier said than done sometimes I will admit!

This is a time for healing, for reflection, for gratitude, for growth and for unity. Lessons learned are just that… when we learn something from any situation and it’s always positive…it’s most certainly a time to celebrate the light and love in our lives! For grounding the Spiritual into the Physical. Whether it’s a Solstice or an Equinox, my go to crystal at these times will always be Dolerite, better known as Preseli Bluestone.

Preseli Blue Stone is famous for making up the 19 inner circle standing stones at Stonehenge. It is a highly spiritual crystal that not only assists us to open our Soma chakras (essential for inner balance of yin/yang energy) ...but is also amazing for assisting us to ground and tap into that ancient earth energy, that electro magnetic pulsation of connectedness that is so very healing to our physical beings. As such, Preseli Bluestone is a crystal of profound vibration, helping us truly ground cosmic consciousness into our physical reality... without losing the plot!

This time of year (in the Southern Hemisphere), is traditionally also a time of sowing, preparing the crops...preparing now for what we want to receive when our hard work comes to fruition. What we are receiving now is a result of the work we have already done. What we receive later is a result of our efforts now...it is ongoing....the death of the old and rebirth of the new. A time to reflect, to prepare, to release, to re-assess what does and does not bring us abundance! A good energetic grounding is imperative in order to do this kind of work!

Preseli Bluestone is therefore one of my favourite crystals to work with for staying grounded, whilst assisting to connect and do any sort of spiritual work, simultaneously helping to utilise that knowledge . As a form of Dolerite, this crystal was used, as said, to build the ancient inner circle of nineteen stones at Stonehenge. The stones carry paramagnetic energy (it becomes magnetic itself when an external magnetic field is present) as well as its own slight electromagnetic charge... a very powerful crystal indeed for developing and remembering spiritual abilities whilst remaining firmly connected and grounded to the Earth.

Just because we are receiving psychic messages, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we are listening to truth. The information we receive needs to have a practical application in someway to assisting and enhancing the journeys we have chosen to experience here on Earth. Preseli Bluestone has a high resonate vibration and although this helps us to connect to spiritual information in a powerful way, this crystal also assists us to ground in 3D and to just keep it real!

Bringing the energy today for all who wish to receive it, of some very special images from the Summer Solstice at Stonehenge today, I’m feeling blessed to have been here today….Also for those who wish to receive the energy, a grid made previously in Perth of my very special Preseli Green Man (from Glastonbury) in a Triquetra formation grid with clear quartz to enhance and radiate this energy out to all who would like it. The Triquetra means many things to many people...for me, it represents the trinity of heart, mind and soul in balance as one... and my faith in action. Balanced Spirituality grounds you in your reality and brings you joy, abundance...not confusion. You reap what you sow! Others around us may create drama and confusion, it doesn’t mean that we have to take ownership of that energy.
