During the New York leg of my current trip, I had the opportunity to spend time with Dr Steven Levine. Dr Levine and I worked together at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary during my fellowship year in Manhattan, where we performed many facelifts together. It was an invaluable experience that allowed me to appreciate both his technical approach and his exceptional aesthetic eye.
Many elements of Dr Levine’s technique were originally influenced by Dr Daniel Baker, widely regarded as one of the masters of facelift surgery. During this recent visit, I gained insight into how his approach has continued to evolve, incorporating new refinements and innovations into his facelift procedures.
I recently discussed the techniques I believed were used in Dr Levine’s facelift of Kris Jenner, and it was interesting to learn that my assessment was remarkably accurate. These conversations reinforce an important lesson in facial rejuvenation surgery: outstanding results are not determined by technique alone, but by the thoughtful and individualised application of that technique to each patient’s unique anatomy and aesthetic goals.
Thank you, Steven, for your generosity with your time and for sharing your insights.
