Is this when they are excited or exhausted? These are the times when a stutter is most noticeable.

A stutter is taken seriously as it can become a life long struggle if it is not treated BEFORE 8 years of age.
Perth Speech Therapy works with many children and adults who stutter. The staff are trained in Lidcombe. The Lidcombe programme is considered gold standard.
