In this industry, we can only work with what we know at the time, and it's our responsibility to ensure that knowledge continues to grow.
Research evolves, our understanding deepens, and best practice changes. What we believed to be the gold standard 10 or 20 years ago isn't always what we know to be best today.
If I were still practising exactly as I was taught in beauty school, A'Veen would be a very different clinic. We would likely be over exfoliating, impairing skin barriers and chasing quick fixes rather than supporting long term skin health. Contrary to what we were taught and what sadly still gets taught.. THE TOP LAYER OF SKIN IS NOT DEAD!!
Education isn't something we do once and tick off a list. It's an ongoing commitment to our clients, our profession and ourselves.
Every conference attended, every course completed and every educator learned from helps ensure that the care we provide today reflects the best of what we currently know.
Because our beautiful A'Veen community deserve nothing less.
Today's best practice comes from yesterday's learning.
