This was an interesting one to problem solve. My client needed a wheelchair that was transportable, has the ability to travel over different outdoor terrain and be joystick operated due to limited upper limb function. We trialled the Althea folding frame mwc with off road wheels, an E-fix, joystick operated power assist and the free wheel to lift the front castors and provide better outdoor access and stability. Not only was the trial a success but we successfully had it funded. Now he can participate in family holidays and outdoor outings that can be challenging in a powered wheelchair. It's been a busy couple of months for wheelchair handovers. This one is the helio C2 light weight carbon fibre folding frame. This was scripted with the smoov power assist which is a nice compact power assist that is useful when wanting to travel greater distances while conserving energy and preventing shoulder pain. It's always nice to handover a new wheelchair to happy client. The magic 360 is a great pwc for both indoor and outdoor use. Perfect for a rural property but compact enough with a small turning circle to use indoors. Thanks Darren from Aidacare for all your help

Check out this long awaited Melrose lynx titanium sports chair. I have one very happy client who has been counting down the days until this arrived and yesterday was the day. This will be used as a badminton chair and will no doubt achieve great things!

Great to see Nang today with his new Rove wheelchair in action. This is a great light weight (carbon fibre) but strong (titanium) frame that is perfect for his active lifestyle and nice and light to transfer in and out of his car and my favourite part is that he picked the colour of the frame to match his car 😆
