Before she called St Louis Estate home, Anne Lewis was making history in the skies. ✈️
As the first female pilot with the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA Royal and the first woman to hold a commercial pilot licence in Western Australia, Anne forged a path at a time when few women had the opportunity to fly professionally.
Her career took her from medical flights serving remote Western Australian communities to international aviation, visiting more than 100 countries and recording 8,000 flying hours.
Today, Anne is a valued member of our St Louis Estate community. Her extraordinary journey reminds us how much history, knowledge and experience each resident brings.
