Rafiki is proud to partner with Care for Africa to bring Rafiki wa Binti to Tarime.

This marks our very first Shared Giving Partnership, a collaboration between like-minded organisations working together to create greater impact.

By combining our efforts, we can support more girls with Binti Packs and menstrual health education, helping them manage their periods with dignity, stay in school, and reach their full potential.

Together, we’re proving that when organisations work together, we can change more lives.

More than just surgeries.

The Rafiki Australia Tanzania surgical camps are not only about transforming lives in the operating theatre, they are about building skills, sharing knowledge, and empowering the future of healthcare in Tanzania.

Every moment is hands-on. Every case is a learning opportunity. Not just lectures in a classroom, but real experience side by side, training, mentoring, and growing together.

Changing lives today while equipping the next generation of plastic and reconstructive surgeons for tomorrow.

Dr. Dorah Mtaita, is the first female trainee in Plastic Surgery at Muhimbili National Hospital and a recipient of the Rafiki Scholarship.
