One of the advantages of being a smaller plan manager is that we have the time to carefully review every invoice before it's paid.
We regularly identify things like:
• Providers charging above the applicable hourly rate.
• Duplicate invoices for services that have already been paid.
• Incorrect service dates or billing errors.
• Claims that don't align with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
Most of the time these are genuine mistakes, but if they're not picked up, they can quickly reduce a participant's funding.
We believe plan management is about more than simply paying invoices. We see our role as protecting participants' funding, asking questions when something doesn't look right, and helping ensure every NDIS dollar is spent correctly.
Being smaller allows us to provide the attention to detail that every participant deserves.
We told you plan managers stopped $270.5 million in a single quarter. 💰
Here's what that looks like next to the NDIA's own numbers. 👇
⚖️ NDIA Crack Down on Fraud, Q3 2025–26: ~$35.7 million stopped pre-payment
🛑 DIA survey members: $270.5 million stopped pre-lodgement
That's roughly 7.6 times more, from one-third of the plan-managed sector.
Different scope, complementary work.
